"We just returned 5/30/2026 from a magical stay at the Beachcomber Motel on the Water in Mackinaw City, MI, and I can't stop raving about it. If you're looking for a charming, family-run motel with unbeatable views, impeccable cleanliness, and warm hospitality that feels like coming home, this is the place. The owners and staff (shoutout to Lori, Dick, and Gene!) are genuinely friendly, helpful, and dedicated to making your stay special. The location is unbeatable right on the sandy beach of Lake Huron with stunning panoramic views of Mackinac Island, the majestic Mackinac Bridge, and the sparkling Straits of Mackinac. Waking up to the gentle waves and watching the ferries glide by was the highlight of our trip. We could walk to the Mackinac Island ferry terminal in minutes, and downtown dining and attractions were just a short stroll away. It's the perfect base for exploring everything northern Michigan has to offer. Whether you're here for a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a peaceful escape, the Beachcomber delivers. Affordable, pristine, and brimming with charm, we've already booked our next trip back. This isn't just a motel; it's a memorable Michigan experience. Highly, highly recommend! You won't regret it"
