"The good: I was very surprised when I walked in and saw how big the room was. There were two air conditioners! The viewing choices on the TV were the typical Hilton fare, which is to say excellent. The bad: the overhead lighting in the room didn’t work. They were fluorescent fixtures that seemed to have ballast issues. There were other lights available. We were also disappointed that there wasn’t a microwave oven. First time we’ve run across that in a long time Overall: despite the problems, I thought it was a good value."

"I loved this hotel after my first stay for a rest stop before heading to big bend national park. The hotel is very safe quiet and clean. A/C is great the rooms are clean so are the bathrooms the beds are comfy. Staff are friendly and helpful and I like the tranquility my car is parked in a secured area where I can come and go. The location is very accessible to walking downtown and across a Denny's. It has a lovely view of the Tower of the America's and the Alamodome. I stayed here with my mother and decided to stay the night again coming back from big bend. Breakfast is good. I will definitely come back again when visiting San Antonio. I will say I do question Valet. I had plenty of bags I needed help with loading into my vehicle and while the valet guy was outside not once did he offer to help."

"It was a comfortable stay. The hotel and the room were clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast left much to be desired, nothing fresh, no fruit and lots of processed carbs and powdered eggs. My room was on the 7th floor which had steps, leading to the rooms, so it was no fun carrying a suitcase up and down those stairs. The hotel was in walking distance to all attraction downtown, which I appreciated. I felt safe."
