"Was a nice place! Did have the cleaning people walk in my room not knock or anything and didn’t say anything and then just walked away which was a weird experience but other than that it was a pleasant experience."

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a very quiet place to get away, with a comfortable bed with nice linens, a lovely view (beyond the vast parking lot), and close proximity to Dubuque and Galena, where there are nice restaurants, cafes, fun bars, historical places to visit, and great sightseeing. I grew up in Dubuque, and loved it while there from age eight until I married at age 22. Lived in Chicago, in Portland, Oregon, and moved back to Iowa (Iowa City) when I was 35. I have loved this area my entire life, and now, in my 70s, long to move back where my siblings stayed as I traveled the world. This hotel afforded me rest and calm! 💖"
