This thriving town boasts market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays when both sides of the high street are home to stalls selling a wide range of goods and produce. Situated equidistant between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, the opportunities for exploration are endless. These include a day at the races, a family trip to the unique Forbidden Corner at Middleham (19 miles), or a trip to a country house such as Newby Hall (23.5 miles) and Kiplin Hall (2 miles). The quaint town of Bedale is just 6 miles away, where the cobbled streets are lined with independent shops. Take home some delicious local cheeses, explore the unique 12th-century church or take in Yorkshire's finest scenery from the Wensleydale Railway.

Step inside this newly renovated barn conversion, formerly part of the working farm, into a spacious hallway, where you can hang your coat and leave your walking boots before heading into the kitchen for a nice hot cup of tea and slice of cake. The spacious family-sized kitchen has plenty of natural light and offers a dining table that seats up to six should you have additional guests for dinner. After dinner, venture up the stairs to the lounge, get comfy on the sofas and gather around to play a board game. There's a Smart TV for your entertainment. When it's time to call it a day, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor, both of which have comfortable double beds for a restful night's sleep and an en-suite shower room. There is an additional WC in the hallway.

Outside is a small, decked veranda, where you can enjoy your morning coffee, accessed via the kitchen.
