"Though we live just about a hour from the wedding we attended, we wanted somewhere to stay for the night. It is a quaint little lodge that is quiet. We loved that they offered food til 1:00 a.m. after we'd gotten in from the reception late. Just FYI the pizzas are huge and delicious! Breakfast had a good selection of grab and go items as well as others. Suited us just fine. The staff was very kind. Our room was one of the economy smaller ones facing the river, in a distance, where we saw many turkies on the waters edge. It was beside the train tracks but when a train passed by you could hardly tell. No whistle blowing and it was quite cool to see so many coal train cars. Again, a small room with a TV, bathroom and chair, but suited our needs of a cozy place to crash for the night. Comfy beds and affordable. We would stay here again."
"Great place to spend a weekend or week away! The kayaks and canoes were amazing to spend time out on the lake and river. Nearby nature preserves allowed for some fantastic hikes. Comfortable beds and great spaces for lounging and cooking with an incredible porch with view of the lake to watch the bald eagles and herons while sipping your morning coffee. Highly recommend!"
"The owner communicated early and often to make sure we were good upon arrival. The house is beautiful and well appointed. The rooms are upstairs but the butler Kimo will bring up your luggage. The room was spacious and bathroom had everything needed - even 2 robes!! Breakfast was amazing - home cooked and very filling. I'm a vegetarian and he accommodated me easily. Would stay there again. "

"The house on the lake is very well situate with direct access to the Matanzas lake. The property is conveniently built on one level, and has great amenities to enjoy a lake getaway vacation. Fishing, kayaking and spending time outdoor is facilitated conveniently. The house itself is well provisioned with everything necessary for the stay. Welcome bar with snacks and drinks is also included. The location is awesome. There is no back and front yard, but the property is still appropriate to accommodate families with children from different age groups. In overall, good value for the price."
