"Check in instructions were great and What 3 Words took me right to the door. Apartment was warm, spacious and clean, with a great shower and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s super handy for the beach. There are some unfinished apartments nextdoor which are unsightly. However, they cause no issue and they are soon to be finished which will make the whole complex a lovely area. It’s peaceful and you can hear the sea with a window open. And apparently the hail - great British weather! I was visiting a relative at a nearby care home and it was perfect for what I needed. Would highly recommend "

"Outside of the complex is a little tired ,but oh what a difference when you walk into the accommodation. Excellent flat, fully equipped spotlessly clean. Great base from which to explore this part of Devon. Would highly recommend. Lots of steps from carpark to flat so may not suit any one with mobility issues. 10 out if 10 😁"

"Staff were variable from courteous and welcoming to indifferent. The spa facilities are too small for the size of the hotel. Menu options were uninspiring and generally overpriced. Best thing about the hotel is undoubtedly the fantastic view"

"We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. "The cottage is cosy and well equipped. Everything was very clean and in full working order and it is in a terrific location.The owner was very attentive and helpful with information about what to see and do in the local area, including information specific to our own preferences and responded quickly and helpfully on the occasion when we needed him.I can't recommend this cottage enough if you want a comfortable stay on a great, friendly town with lots to see and do nearby."

"Had a really nice couple of nights, room was spacious, clean and ideal for a family. Staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly, courteous and helpful, credit to the resort and management. Breakfast had enough for everyone and a good selection of cooked and continental. We had one evening meal in the restaurant, couldn't fault the food or the service and very reasonably priced, we even stayed for the quiz! Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and will hopefully visit again. Thank you. :) "
