"Major renovations needed. Major peeling and extreme stains in bathtub . Walls and door paint were peeling. Inside of entrance door disgusting said it wasn’t wiped down. Found hair in multiple places. Stains on carpet. Weird odor all over room. Wet sticky feeling in room. Towels weren’t properly swapped out and had make up from someone else on it. Didn’t look like they vacuumed at all. The gym had duck tape all around a part of the elliptical that was broken. Was nervous to use. I used to love this hotel some years ago but it’s gone downhill and I’m so sad about it. I wouldn’t let my kids come here again nor myself unless completely renovate. And I’m truly not one to complain unless it’s just absolutely some outrageous reasoning. 😔"

"Breakfast was meh, i think a continental breakfast would have been better. The room was clean however our balcony door handle was broken and house keeping never came. The front desk staff was awesome, so overall not the best but definitely not the worst "

"This house was perfect for our month long stay to visit family. Good for families or just one or two. The location was convenient for us and very accessible to restaurants and coffee shops as well as parks, grocery stores and downtown BR or LSU. There were plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. Lots of hot water and very comfy beds. The heat and AC both worked great. We needed both! We appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen/cooking set up was fine and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. Communication with the host was very prompt and courteous. We will look for availability here for future visits. We definitely recommend. "

"Where do I begin? The front desk - very nice- the bartenders- great- the room service (when they had enough staff to order) great- the guy who had to jimmy rig the hotel door to the pool - also great- door to pool was propped open with a trash can - the breakfast I paid for wasn’t an option- Buffett wasn’t available one of the days, the service in the restaurant was less than sub par. We will never stay at this property again. Bathrooms are so tiny, the rooms are dated…this place needs a facelift and more employees. Disappointed for sure! The valet guys were the amazing! "
