"On arrival we were told we'd been upgraded to the Gamekeepers cottage which was not on site but we refused because of it being more remote.The lodge had superb fittings apart from the chairs which needed replacing.We felt generally that the attention to detail..instructions lacking from using the microwave to getting rid of rubbish..stripping the beds etc.. plus site management needs attention..pruning trees..but overall we enjoyed it but for these reasons we wouldn't give it 5*"

"Found lodge very nice, The only thing I would say is that could do with some lighting around the site, as very dark to walk back to lodge if you have been out for the night. And the light on the lodge up the steps to the front door very very dim."
