Booked to take my grandkids swimming. Friday 15th til Saturday 16th. Pool wasn't open Friday. So we had a quick swim early Saturday am. This was my treat to then. Friday was boring for them so i opened my room door and let them play with a sponge ball in the corner. A staff member came told me they werent supervised, even though there mom was sat outside of our door I was on my phone we hadn't stay in the room all Friday. No pool. Like I promised. Boring.. they could laugh people were complaining. Terrible! They were supervised. The older one was 11. He's very protective of his 4 yr old sister and brother. Like I said it put a dapper on the whole Friday night. There mom abdcibeere constantly watching them. Our may 24 weekend was disappointing. We felt bad by being told our kids weren't supervised There mo. Or myself we're looking at them constantly. They were excited. But had to go to bed like 7pm. . Was going to leave and go somewhere more kid friendly.. But I prepaid. We had enough time to swim quickly in the morning cause check out 11 am. I love taking kids in st. Johns once a month. There are a lot of kid friendly hotels Holiday inn conference is good. Price right! Best western.. sandman hotel. They are much better to handle a few excited children. This is my story.. could of got a hotel without a pool for less than half the money. As there pool was closed FRIDAY no discount.. no apologies. Couldn't even walk around with grandkids. Noisy.. disappointe

Clean, easy parking, good location

We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We had a lovely breakfast delivered to our door every morning and a Nespresso machine with infinite pods right in our room along with a selection of teas and an electric kettle. Michele and Simone ensured that every need we had was met. The property is located near several wonderful bakeries and the short, walk to downtown was lined with beautiful colorful Newfoundland homes. A serene scenic park was also located very close by. We would absolutely recommend this property and will definitely use it as our main stay for future visits.

Beautiful hotel, entrance and room. One night stay, but excellent stay. Staff were fantastic and welcoming!

Nice staff. Good parking. Breakfast bags provided for early morning travellers. Airport shuttle on time.
