We had a little issue with a water leak but they fixed it immediately. Very nice people and beautiful property. Cabin was clean and cozy and stocked with all the essentials.
Very nice modern and comfortable cabin. Enjoyed my stay again. Looking forward to next trip! I did see the Northern Lights for the first time and it was amazing.

Cozy cabin with easy access to the greater Fairbanks area. The location is quiet and wooded.
The cabin was in a great location and I loved the view out the window. The heater worked great, as I'm from California and temps in the 30's is cold for me.
I just loved how thoughtfully this cabin was constructed & maintained! It was impeccably clean & had everything we needed. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This was a very cute and quaint cottage. It was nicely set up with extras I wasn't expecting. A great value!
My kids, sister and I enjoyed our stay. The cottage was pleasant, clean, had wonderful features, and cozy beds.
I like that it is dog friendly. We also enjoyed the firepit as my kids love making smores. It was a perfect vacation.
Property is well taken care, clean, cozy and great amenities. Has a great area for your pet. Host is quick in responding to questions and goes out of their way to ensuring your stay and our pets stay is met with satisfaction.
This Cabin is AMAZING!!! If you stay in North Pole, AK or Fairbanks, AK you have to stay here. The space has plenty of room, an Awesome bathroom and a Great kitchen. There's even cereal and coffee provided and all the basic dishware and utensils. Very Clean. Veey responsive host.
They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed - even if we didn’t know we needed it! The cabin was cozy and clean and I was impressed they checked the oil weekly, plowed it out nicely, and provided an extension cord to plug in my car. Nice!!
It's a very comfortable home, very neat and included all the amenities and great extras like coffee, cereal, Netflix. The hist was very responsive and available.
I loved how cute and tiny this place is! It was just perfect for our little family of 5. There was even a pack and play for the baby, and a small folding table and chairs for the little kids. Plus a box of toys in the closet. All in all—PERFECT. Definitely would stay here a second time if we ever go that way again!
This little cabin was perfect for the start to our Alaska vacation! Fairbanks was where we started. Seeing the Aurora is a bucket list must see. We had great weather and were able to see the Lights on our second night! We needed up driving out to Cleary Summit. The cabin was super cute, very clean and was perfect for my husband and I. It also was our anniversary! The location was perfect for all we had on our itinerary. And most importantly the bed was SO comfortable and we slept so well!! I would highly recommend booking Birch Tree Cottage for your Fairbanks stay!
My husband and I had a great stay at the Birch Tree Cottage. Everything from the first contact to the check out was perfect. It is exactly as advertised, well equipped and we were cozy and warm while it was -25F outside. Perfect for a peaceful rest after a busy day. Their welcome kit and visitor guide was a good surprise with very nice tips and directions - one of the best ones we saw in the market. Overall, the cabin has everything you may need, kitchen utensils/appliances and is about 10 minutes drive from groceries, gas station and restaraunts. The host response time is very quick, replied all our questions, gave us good tips and advices on things to do nearby. Very attentive to make sure we would not have to worry with anything and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Would go above and beyond if needed to make that happen. Will definitely recommend and book again whenever visiting Fairbanks area another time.

Our cottage was perfect. It was exactly what we needed and wanted from a rustic Alaskan cabin. At no point did I feel lacking. The water was hot, the room was clean. Felt completely safe and it was quiet. It was simply us in nature. We loved that the host left a journal for fellow travelers; we decided to do Chena Hot Springs because of the log. Glad we did. When my wife and I return to Fairbanks/North Pole; we will stay there again. If I could only ask you to fix one thing; put a black out drape over the upper window. Great place!
Birch Tree was perfect. We were worried that we would be cold because when we landed it was -33 degrees outside. When we walked into the cottage it was warm and cozy. That heater and plenty of hot water saved us in the beginning of the week when it was below zero. It warmed up and we were almost disappointed. Never having experienced below zero temps it was pretty awesome how cold that really is. One day we also were at the breakfast table and saw a moose walk by and then plop itself down in the yard for a couple of hours. We also had the good luck to see the Northern Lights from the comfort of our driveway 3 nights while we were there. It was quite an incredible trip. A lot of items on my bucket list were checked off.
Very impressed with the personal touches. After arriving at the cabin at 2 a.m. in the morning we found everything we needed from bedding to cereal and milk along with the coffee/ coffee machine. We were so grateful. Our parking area was plowed after the snow which was very thoughtful. Really appreciated the snow shovel to be able to keep the steps clear of snow. This was the third time to visit Fairbanks from Ohio. Each visit I picked a different area for a cabin. This cabin was the best, it really fit our needs for 4 people. It was the epicenter for our Alaska daily adventures. Denali, Chatanitka Lodge, Chena Hot Springs and Castner Glacier and a lot of stops in between. Was able to see the Northern Lights south of North Pole. Also Rod’s for snowmobiling and dog sledding. Thank you. Pat
