"Our stay with Patti, her husband, and sweet dog Millie was such a dream! We were here for work, and they went completely above and beyond. This quaint property is perfect for a getaway or business, and comfortably fits 4 with pets.The property is a peaceful haven of gorgeous trees, fresh air, and pine scent. We enjoyed total privacy, yet communication was incredibly solid. The amenities are amazing—especially the heated pool, gym, and TV to watch movies or play music while swimming. Patti thought of everything: extra blankets/towels, a coffee/tea/cocoa bar, and fully stocked toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toothpaste, and even extra toothbrushes).While there is no stove, they have other appliances so you can easily cook. The bedroom AC and living room tower fan kept us perfectly comfortable, and the outdoor campfire area is a wonderful place to gather. As a pet owner, the secure gate made me feel incredibly safe leaving my pups and belongings while away.The price is remarkable for Durango, Colorado. If you are lucky enough to find this place vacant when you need it, consider yourself blessed. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would! Don't pass this one up."

"Great week on the river! This place is the perfect river getaway, you won't be disappointed! Went with some long time friends and enjoyed every minute. The house location is unmatched, almost hanging over the river. A short drive from Durango, easy access from the road and you'll hear nothing but the river at the house. Theres 2 separate bedrooms with king and queen, also 2 twins tucked in the loft, a bit tight there but doable. Bathrooms are okay, plenty of towels, water hot, pressure decent. Washer and dryer nice bonus! The couch is not pullout, you could sleep on it I suppose. Theres a gas fireplace, heats up fast and puts out the heat, no AC but we opened windows and the nights got cold, very nice. Kitchen is well stocked ,has drip coffee maker and a Keurig, iron skillets, pots pans, all we needed was there. Lots plates, silverware, glassware etc. Bring ziplocs, saran wrap and tinfoil if you want, or buy in Durango on your grocery run. Theres a propane grill on the deck, complete with spare tank if needed and plentiful seating to just enjoy the outdoors and hang out. A good size TV (55?) but we didnt really use it much, cant speak to channels, NFlix and others apps available tho. Called the number provided once to ask a question, answered on 2nd ring, thanks for attentive communication! Really enjoyed this getaway house and quiet neighborhood, I will definitely keep on my list for future visits!"
