If you want a feeling of modern sophistication while on your North Myrtle Beach vacation, then the Hemmingway is your place. This three bedroom, two bath unit sleeps up to eight people, and boasts granite countertops, locally crafted cabinetry and dining furniture, and custom Italian leather sofas. Situated along the widest portion of the beach, you can spend your days collecting shells, listening to the waves, swimming, playing, and soaking up the sun. After you have had your seaside fun, you can relax in the large Jacuzzi tub and then sit and read by the fireplace. Crescent Dunes is a nonsmoking building and boasts an oceanfront pool, grills, elevator service, decks, and ample parking. Flat screen televisions in the living room and each bedroom will ensure that there will not be arguments over what to watch on TV, and free wireless internet can keep you connected even as you get away. Come and enjoy all that the Grand Strand has to offer, and let Crescent Dunes be your North Myrtle Beach home away from home. THIS BUILDING HAS A 35# WEIGHT LIMIT FOR PETS, AS WELL AS A 2 PET MAXIMUM PER UNIT.

We rent strictly to families and adults 25 and over only in this property. Family groups are defined as parents, grandparents, children and extended family members vacationing together in one home. We do not rent to house parties and/or groups including but not limited to fraternity, high school graduation, spring break from high schools or colleges, or other non family groups, to be determined at the sole discretion of Retreat Myrtle Beach. Violators of this regulation will be denied occupancy and will forfeit the full rental amount. In the instance that a non-family group is found to occupy a unit, the violation of the above rules shall be grounds for an expedited eviction with no refund. ABSOLUTELY NO HOUSE PARTIES ALLOWED.

Rates are based on beach location, property quality, condition, furnishings and the number of people the unit may accommodate. Beautiful condo, updated look and super clean! We would stay again for sure! Loved that it was on a low floor too. Wish the elevator, stairwell and hallways to the condo had air conditioning or at least some fresh air flow though.

Beautiful beach front condo

My family had a wonderful stay in this condo. It was perfect for myself, husband, and our two adult children with plenty of room. It was immaculate, well stocked, and decorated nicely. The building was located in a nice, safe area with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. I highly recommend.

Excellent short trip

We couldn’t asked for a better stay. Jeanne was excellent by phone. One can sit on the balcony and enjoy Gods creation or just take a few steps and the beach does not disappoint. We would love to return soon. Zoey enjoyed it too!

Wonderful Vacation Spot

This was a very nice and clean vacation spot. Very well built so could not hear outside noises from inside the unit. Beautiful location overlooking the ocean just above the pool area. Also the management office folks (Jeanne was such a delightful person!) were extremely helpful and very organized. Many thanks to the owners for sharing their vacation home with us!

Perfect vacation

The decor and color scheme is beautiful (and a little scary with all of the breakables so we put some away to keep them safe and make room for our items) and the furniture is comfy in this unit. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances worked as they should. Upon arrival, our pre-ordered linens were waiting on us. The unit was clean and tidy. We appreciate the doggy station between the building and the beach for bags and disposal. Sunrise and moonrise over the ocean are memorable moments and the location of this condo is perfect.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd stay at CD and the 2nd time in unit 202. We love Crescent Beach and CD & the convenient location. We stay because it’s pet friendly and our dog loves his beach trip. Unit 202 was infested with fruit flies, as evidenced by the plug-in trap in the kitchen which was covered in dead fruit flies. Two weeks fighting fruit flies was a bit much. Meal prep and a glass of wine were difficult to enjoy as the flies land in everything. They’re also in the baths. We set our own traps and caught well over 75 and the last two days there were considerably less. No one else in the building had this issue. The fact the trap was there and the unit was full of fruit flies upon arrival speaks for itself. We will stay at CD again; however, we will look for another unit.

Wonderful Fall Vacation

We love Crescent Dunes because our furbaby loves the beach and he's welcome here. This unit was nice and very clean and we plan to rebook for 2024. The leather living room furniture is very comfortable and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation. The appliances are fairly new; however the DW was not working but the Retreat staff responded immediately and began working to coordinate the repair. The kitchen was stocked to meet our needs although we don't do much cooking on vacation. Dishes, silverware, pans and utensils were of good quality. The washer/dryer worked very well and I liked that the owner provided a small vacuum. As convenient as the condo is to the beach, I feel like the HOA could make some cosmetic improvements to the garage/elevator area to freshen it up a bit and replace the ceiling tiles which were also missing in 2022. Power washing the sidewalks and columns would help. We love the area and the proximity to the beach and would recommend this unit and Retreat very highly.

Not Perfect

We loved the location where the building was situated on the beach. The particular unit had issues. We had no hot water in the kitchen and had to boil water everytime we washed dishes or cleaned anything. The dishwasher would not stop running and also had not much hot water. The washing machine knobs would not work in order to wash our towels and the washer was entirely too small. There were large roach bugs crawling around on the sink tops so my daughter hated that part. The toilet in the master bedroom would not flush which relegated everyone to use the one toilet in the other bathroom. I called the office several times concerning these issues and never got a person on the other end of the line. I left a message for a call back and nobody ever called and we were there for a week. We enjoyed the building and had a really good time, however, our unit was not worth the price because of the issues.

A Uniquely Wonderful Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been fortunate to call Crescent Dunes our home for many years now. It has become symbolic with our annual Fall vacation. Upon arrival the unit was clean and inviting. As always we appreciated the excellent lines of communication with the office staff. They were once again very helpful in securing the delivery of a package for us. I noticed that a fellow guest mentioned the missing tiles in the parking garage. We also observed that upon our arrival. I believe that damage represents some of the lasting memories of Hurricane Ian which occurred during our stay last year. We will be forever grateful to the Retreat Myrtle Beach staff for their support during that extreme weather event. I know there has also been previous mention of the high siding in the main bathroom shower. Perhaps it is because as a 64-year-old man I am no longer an Olympian (smile) that now I am acutely aware of it. I can only imagine the difficulties other seniors or those with any physical limitations might encounter. The second bathroom offers an alternative, but depending on the amount of guests that option could become limited.In closing, never let anyone underestimate the medicinal benefits of the beach. Before departing for our trip, my wife received an unfortunate cancer diagnosis. The beauty of watching a glorious sunrise or an enchanting sunset was amazing. Taking a stroll with the sand between your toes is invigorating. Indeed, the rhythmic sound of a roaring ocean is simply cleansing for the soul.The hospitality by the good folks of the Grand Strand was on full display when a local entrepreneur donated a wig to my wife in anticipation of her future challenges. That kind gesture deeply touched our hearts.As we look forward to a positive outcome, we want to thank the staff of Retreat Myrtle Beach for once again providing us with a truly enjoyable family experience. We eagerly look forward to our return next year. The Br

Great location and easy beach access! Our family really enjoyed the location of this condo right on the beach. We were able to easily go to and from the beach throughout the day and make stops at the on-site pool to cool off. The beds are quite comfortable and the condo has been nicely renovated. There was enough parking for our 2 cars at the property and it felt like a very safe location for our family of 5 to come and go. The only suggestion would be to add umbrellas to the pool area. There is currently no place to get a break from the sun. Otherwise, we loved this property and really enjoyed our time at Crescent Dunes!
