evo Hotel Tahoe City
10/10 Excellent
"Very convenient location, lots of walkable shops and grocery stores, winter and summer sports equipment rental shops, right in front of the Lake Tahoe, great view, the hotel has a dry sauna, outdoor firepits, which adds ambience. The gold club right next to the hotel. What I didn't like: since we were at the first floor, we can hear guests above our room walking or dropping things, it was little bit loud, the walls are not soundproof enough, even in the morning you can hear guests walking on hallways, and it was loud. "
"Smelt so good when I first walked in room amazing view of the lake. Will be staying again . This place has best views in Tahoe city if you are luck enough no not get a ground floor unit . "
"The place was great. I liked the aesthetics as well. Yes there was a steep hill but totally manageable and the fact that I could walk the lake every day was amazing. If one happens to be arriving at night be careful of the path to the front door there is a single step which is tricky but a phone flashlight will be fine"
Waterfront Beachfront Beach Access Pets Allowed Hot Tub Lake House Outdoor Space
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was an excellent choice for our large family gathering. Hard to find a place with this many bedrooms, all of which were clean and ready. The huge dining table was great to be able to have the whole family sit together. The view from the hot tub is incredible. We also used the beach access which has a great park for the kids. It appears that most of the bathrooms have recently been updated and there's ongoing work to update other parts of the property. Mike was easy to get a hold of for the minor issues that did arise. "
"Perfectly situated to walk into " downtown" tahoe city ( 10min) which includes Commons beach, and some tasty lunch dinner spots. Right across from the multi-use path that connects all of west shore. Also a perfect middle ground to south, north, and truckee. Its QUIET...and Tahoe dont mess around. So be mindful if you are a loudmouth.I went on shoulder season right after labor day. Not crowded, weather is a mixture of warm to chilly breezes. But overall lovely.Host, responsive and very timely to answer my silly questions. First time dealing with bear bungees. Also gave food suggestions we used. Glad we did. A LOT of instructions to consume for check in and out. Not sure if thats Host or TahoeOnly potential for improvement, slightly thicker toliet paper and a brighter shower curtain or just glass door. Its a smaller shower stall so this was difficult for my man (6'3 and solid)."
