About this property

Modern 4BR Lakefront Escape w/King Beds & Hot Tub

  • Welcome to Apsley Lake House, your private waterfront escape on Lower Apsley Lake where open space, calm water, and effortless cottage living come together. Set on two peaceful acres just minutes from the village of Apsley, this newly renovated 4-bedroom retreat is designed for families, couples, and groups looking to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy every moment of their stay.

From the moment you arrive, the setting invites you to breathe deeper. A wide, gently sloping lawn leads you down to the water, creating the perfect space for outdoor games, lounging in the sun, or simply taking in the quiet beauty of the lake. At the shoreline, a large private dock extends out over the glassy water, ideal for morning coffee, afternoon swims, and evenings spent watching the light change across the lake.

Days here are meant to be spent outdoors. Whether you’re enjoying the backyard, relaxing at the dock, or exploring the surrounding area, the property offers a peaceful, private setting that feels removed from everything while still being just a short drive to town.

Inside, the cottage blends modern updates with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The open-concept main floor is filled with natural light, with large windows framing the lake and creating a bright, comfortable space to gather. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from slow mornings to shared meals, while the living and dining areas offer plenty of room to relax together.

Two main-floor bedrooms each feature their own private balcony, offering a quiet place to step outside and take in the fresh air. Downstairs, a cozy second living space becomes the heart of the home in the evenings, with a woodstove that brings warmth and comfort after a day outside. Two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom complete the lower level, including one bedroom with direct walkout access to the yard and lake.

Just steps from the house, the hot tub offers a private place to unwind, surrounded by trees and open sky. Whether you’re soaking after a full day on the lake or ending the night under the stars, it’s a guest favourite and a defining part of the experience.

Evenings are best spent around the firepit, where the sounds of the lake and crackling fire create the perfect setting to relax, reconnect, and slow things down.

Guests return to Apsley Lake House for its rare combination of space, privacy, and true cottage atmosphere. From long summer days by the water to quiet nights in the hot tub and around the fire, this is a place where lasting memories are made.

Summer dates are limited. Secure your stay and experience Apsley Lake House.

We enjoyed our stay. Cottage was very clean, beds and furniture comfortable. Enjoyed the use of kayak and SUP boards. Only complaint would be that the barbecue was unacceptable and should be replaced. We had to use oven/stove for cooking.Zahra provided all necessary instruction and responded immediately to emails.
