"A nice place to stay (we've been a few times now), between the main thoroughfare and the beach. Things have improved over the years, although it appears there are some bits and pieces that are still in progress or need to be done (e.g., some paint chipping in the room). Third floor is best for views of the beach, but second floor isn't too bad either; ground floor is mostly the grassy knoll. Prices are very affordable. No breakfast (they had something years ago, but that's gone), but usually coffee and a snack in the lobby."

"Rooms clean and nice, location is pretty under the bridge along the water, it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the cute part of downtown which is not bad if you like walking. Unfortunately walls are thin, my neighbor was scream crying for about an hour one night and the other neighbors were up yelling to each other on the porch around midnight the night before. I know there's not a lot the hotel can do about that but definitely not the best nights of sleep. Mini fridge and microwave came in handy and price was right in the off season."

"My 16 year old daughter and I traveled from Tennessee to Washington and Oregon, and this was one of my most favorite places we visited! It’s so quiet, romantic, & charming! I plan to come back one day! The food is amazing, the coffee shop, and bookstore is a short walk away, boats are beautiful against the sunset, and Cape Disappointment State Park is stunning!"

"Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Felt more like a guest room than motel room mainly due to the thoughtfully chosen decorations and amenities. Parking was excellent and dog walking was convenient. Not fancy looking and the walls were thin - that is all there would be to keep from excellent status. Would return in a heartbeat."

"This is a most unique and enjoyable b&b. The property is beautifully restored and maintained and extremely comfortable. The owners, Ken and Candi, are very much involved in the running of this delightful b&b and were instrumental in making my wife and my stay a weekend event and not just a place to stay for the night. Location is great in Ilwaco. It’s within walking distance of restaurants and is in a central location to take advantage of the entire Long Beach, Cape Disappointment area. Ken, the owner, functioned as chief for our stay. He served the two of us great breakfasts during our two day stay. The aroma of his wonderful breakfasts loft thru the house. His conversation and help with local attractions were most welcomed and helpful. My wife and I highly recommend The Pearl Inn."

"The staff was so accommodating in moving our room to a room adjoining and connecting with my parents room, as we had made separate reservations and it was nice to be able to share a living room when we got there the next day. The rooms were on a top floor so that we had nice views of the ocean from our balconies. The sound of the surf is awesome. The location is right on the dunes leading to the beach and the start of the paved Discovery Trail…the front desk had bikes available for its guests to use for just $5 an hour and we enjoyed traveling down the trail and checking out the statues. Very dog friendly and kite friendly as well! Perfect place for kite-flying! And best bakery down the road at Dylan’s Cottage Bakery…a must."
