"The staff was very friendly and helpful! I was surprised that an elevator was available to carry luggage to the 2nd floor. Although my party want described as handicapped, we are all senior citizens and found it rather inconvenient. However, I must admit they offered assistance with the bags. Also, the breakfast food was good but the space was the smallest I have ever seen and people were tripping over each other to get at food items."

"As a Marriott Bonvoy member, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The night before checkout, I called the front desk and specifically asked for a one-hour late checkout extension until noon. The receptionist told me it would be fine and said to just call in the morning to confirm with housekeeping. The next morning, I called as instructed and was abruptly told no extension would be granted. Completely inconsistent communication between staff. The bigger issue was the condition of the hotel itself. The power went out THREE separate times during my stay, and there was apparently no backup generator. Every outage left the room without lights, air conditioning, TV, or a working refrigerator. The staff acted like this was normal and showed little concern or urgency. To make matters worse, I extended my stay by an extra night. The front desk called me downstairs to renew my room keys, but failed to mention I needed to bring a credit card for the incidental hold, despite the room already being prepaid online. My credit card was locked inside the room because my keys no longer worked. Shockingly, the hotel did not even have a master key available to let me back into my room. I was only able to resolve the situation because I happened to have my phone with me and could use a digital card payment. Overall, the staff was disorganized, unhelpful, and indifferent throughout the entire stay. This experience fell far below Marriott standards."

"Remodeled very nicely, loved the smell of new carpet. Rooms were quiet. Staff very friendly. My daughter loved the indoor pool and balcony view of the water. Restaurant was in the lobby and music was a bit loud but could not hear outside of that area. All in all very nice stay"

"Overall, this property exceeded our expectations. The home is beautifully updated, with every room thoughtfully designed for both comfort and style. From the modern appliances and cozy gas fireplace to the Keurig machines in each unit, washers and dryers, heated towel racks, crisp linens, and an abundance of blankets and pillows, every detail was carefully considered. Truly, nothing was lacking.We stayed as a group of 10 while celebrating our daughter’s college graduation, and the layout was perfect for us. Everyone had their own comfortable space, including plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and sitting areas. One of the main reasons we chose this house was so we wouldn’t feel crowded, and the property delivered exactly that.The outdoor spaces were just as enjoyable, featuring two decks with Adirondack chairs as well as a backyard fire pit and seating area. With lake access right across the street, the setting was absolutely beautiful.The weather finally cleared on our last evening — graduation day — and it could not have been a more perfect sendoff after our daughter’s four years in Erie. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck while watching a gorgeous sunset, exactly the experience we had hoped for.John, the owner, was also wonderful to work with. He was attentive, responsive, and very kind throughout our stay, making us feel welcomed and helping us settle in comfortably.I highly recommend booking this home for your family vacation needs. You won't be disappointed!!"
