"Short one night stay before travelling on, we arrived very late but the reception staff was extremely friendly and understanding. We had a family room which was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable, a welcome treat after a long journey! The continental breakfast was also generous and delicious. Would definitely recommend a stay here, and no doubt we'll be returning! "

"Nice stop ahead of return to UK, we had dog and they have dog friendly rooms. Clean, lovely grounds, staff very welcoming, good food. Not particularly cheap but if you are heading back from Alps or south of France and want somewhere close to tunnel it’s a brilliant option"

Not clean, air con not working, rotting windows, no privacy, restaurant closed at weekend for lunch & dinner and only alternative was to eat at the only other hotel in the village. What moron decides that closing the restaurant at weekends is a good idea? Don't tell me there is no demand because the hotel was full to the brim!
