"The staff was really nice, even though we didn't arrive until past midnight. I have found out that the state of IL does no longer allow he small packages of shampoo and soaps. I am not sure if they did away with the complementary coffee machines in the rooms. We are early risers ( 4:00 AM ) and want our coffee. We had to go to the gas station and buy coffee. The breakfast left a lot to wish for. It was almost non existent. Other than that, no complaints."

"Staff was awesome. But the building is very rundown. Dirty chairs, dirty towels, hair in the shower, holes in the walls, toilet very loose and due was messed up. The owner needs to really upgrade this place."

"Clean, comfy and quiet.We really enjoyed staying at the little farm house you guys did a great job remodeling and updating this little old farm house. The bed was very comfy and we liked using the grill and deck outside. The TV disguised as art was really cool and the place was tastefuly decorated. Thank you for sharing your property for others to appreciate and enjoy. Your daily commitment to faith, family and farm are clearly evident and we appreciated seeing a copy of God's word there. May God continue to bless your family."
Completely remodeled luxury 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom House in quiet country setting

"We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this was, without question, the best we have ever experienced.The home itself is absolutely beautiful. The owners renovated it themselves, and their craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident everywhere you look. From the original barn beams to the quality of the materials and finishes, this is not a typical rental property—it is a thoughtfully designed, beautifully appointed home. Add in the lovely views, and it is an incredibly special setting.The house was also exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. The beds were wonderful, there were more than enough towels and linens, and the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area were stocked with everything we could possibly need. So many small details had been anticipated that we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived.What makes this property even more unusual are all the things available to enjoy beyond the house itself. We played pickleball, enjoyed the lake, and loved visiting the animals on the owners’ nearby property. Most importantly, the hosts are simply wonderful people. They stayed in close contact with us, were always readily available by text, and could not have been more approachable or accommodating. Check-in and check-out were effortless.It is rare to find a property where the home, setting, amenities and hosts are all equally exceptional. This one truly is."
Private House with Full Court Gym

"The house and gym are great. We were able to host a small gathering with the owners permission and they had tables and chairs available for use. This is the most stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in. Just to note it does list that there are 2 showers but that includes the outside shower. Inside the house there is only 1 full and 1 half bath. Great property!!"
