"A lovely place to stay. We were on a trip to Bergerac and this was a one night stop so we didn't reallyhave a chance to experience the pool/spa, but the outside sitting areas were nice and being able to get wine and beer was really nice after a long drive. The hosts are every attentive, and although we can't speak french very well and their english was limited Google translate saved the day, especially at meal time when we sat with Celine and her family"

"Good little hotel, we only stayed for the one night. All was clean and tidy, the staff we met were friendly and helpful. All in all a good place, I would use it again if a stop at that point in my journey was needed.
Well done all the staf."

"Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. Our room was comfortable and clean, good shower, and a small kitchenette. It's a good idea to take your own tea, coffee and milk with you. Continental breakfast was good and delivered to our room at the time we requested. A good guide book in English of what to do in the area was left in our room, but perhaps the only disadvantage of the place is that it is quite isolated and a long way from any any restaurants. Overall, a lovely place, and we'd recommended it."
La Drutière Farmhouse is a beautiful rural gem,w/pool
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely week with 3 generations together enjoying this beautiful rural spot. The huge garden was a delight, with bbq, play area and games equipment for all ages, and the heated pool was a great attraction. Pretty village with good shops a short drive away and plenty of day trips within 20 min drive. The old farmhouse house is very comfortable and characterful but beware steep steps and staircases if bringing very small children. Pool has an alarm but is not fenced. "
"I stayed at the hotel with my dog on the way home to England. I parked outside my room, and which was great! The room was comfortable and clean. The are was quiet and I was able to take my dog for a walk.
