I loved everything about this place! Great friendly people! Room was clean and in great condition! Love the different array of chair placements staged in different areas. I would say chairs were their niche’ in being different from other hotels. Love it!

DAWN/sames manager!!! We love her! Such an amazing person and she was on top of everything!! I dont think she slept or stopped moving all weekend we were here. You ever need anything or have questions shes the person to ask. Stayed for business: Tidewater horror convention. Nice hotel. Bed was comfy, room was clean, staff was amazing! Food was good and not badly priced. And best part is, you couldn't hear ur neighbors in another room!! Lol

The Room was so clean and welcoming . The bed , especially the pillows were so soft and comfy. My Mom and I enjoyed our stay so much . The staff was so helpful with anything we needed .

I booked a room for my mom when she came to visit. i came in with her to just kind of see how her room was, see the hotel, and the staff and I can say the high reviews are legitimate. The room was very clean, the view of the city was beautiful. There was a slight issue with the bathroom door, but they fixed it right away. Every time I came over for a bit to pick her up, the staff was friendly, and helpful. Mom reports a wonderful stay. I'll definitely book it again for her or if I have friends flying in, I will be suggesting this hotel.

Surprisingly this hotel was GREAT. Room was very spacious. The hotel is being renovated which is a plus. The pool is big going from 3 ft to 9 ft. The only thing I did not like was the smell in the hallway but that’s from renovation. We will definitely stay here every time.

The hotel is very well centrally located. I stayed for one night on a work trip. Unfortunately, a group of bikers made a lot of noise around 4:30 a.m., which woke me up. Other than that, my stay was pleasant.

Stay was fine overall. No complaints regarding our room, staff, etc. Only complaint is though there are 4 elevators, only 1 was working. 12 floors and 1 elevator working during 4th of July weekend. Also heard from other guests that people got stuck in their elevators. We had to walk down 12 flights of stairs to leave!

Half the price of downtown and within walking distance. It's not a 5 star hotel but it was alright, and the staff were very helpful with a multiple room Expedia booking that I needed to split up. Halley was great as well as the night shift guy. The breakfast waitress also needs mentioning as she was a great waitress. So so for the average Joe, it had hot showers, decent beds and decent rooms. Air conditioning seemed to be locked on 70 though which i didn't like but otherwise it was all good.

The front desk was awesome! The room was okay, clean but old, maintenence had to come put the bathroom door back on, its a sliding door that came off..they also had to come in to check the bathroom wall which the tile was pushed in. We couldn't really use the tub since the water only came from the shower head. We were there 4 nights and I had to steal toilet paper off the housekeeping cart because they never came in our room, luckily we had extra towels to start with. There was a door attached to the next room with locks on both sides, but a housekeeper was in there on her phone and I literally heard her whole conversation through the walls/doors..We thought there was free continental breakfast but turns out you have to pay..its a bit pricey too but the girl working was great and could seriously make some food, the omelets were spectacular! It's an old building and it definitely shows, but the girls at the desk are great and the omelets made it a good trip.
