"Ridgeveiw isn't fancy to look at but that's not what is important. It is very clean, and room was comfortable. Plus they have extra blankets ( the kind that will actually keep you warm) and exyra pillows. I was actually asked if we wanted the tv. My dream as I always thought it would be nice to have that option. The owner was very nice and patient when we couldn't figure out the remotes.🙃 Also it was extremely quiet and peaceful and that is exactly what we needed. We are already planning to go back and stay a few days. There is also a pub /restaurant just up the hill called the Ridgeveiw pub. They have excellent food. We can't wait to go back"

"We have just returned home from our three night stay at Monika's. The beds are so comfortable, rooms spacious and oh so quiet. We did not hear a thing inside or outside the entire time we were there. Beautiful views surround the area. Hope to return soon to check out some hiking trails. Thanks Monika."

"I was delighted that there was electricity and lighting as I had prepared for a complete bothy (Scottish mountain refuge) experience. It made manoeuvring around at night easier. I also greatly appreciated the 2 gallon tanks of water with the nifty electric pump. One was enough for me. I also had kindling and fire starters ready for me to help dry out after a soaking arrival. It has also been a great privilege to be welcomed to the Mowachaht lands and to experience a moment of this profoundly special place. Every visitor should tread lightly and leave no trace. Honour the pristine wilderness."
