Top Noganosh Lake Provincial Park Provincial Park Hotel Reviews
Beautiful waterfront home minutes to Port Loring-family friendly, smoke/pet free
10/10 Excellent
"Tim was awesome and communications were quick and efficient. The cottage was well presented in the pictures and very comfortable. Lake was beautiful with good fishing for wide variety of fish. Property management was great to deal with also. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back in the future."
Jack's Lake Retreat - Perfect for multi-families!
10/10 Excellent
"Overall this place was amazing and exactly what we had hoped for. Pros: Overall - beautiful inside and out. Would stay again in a heart beat. Remote in the sense no neighbours, no excess noise. I saw a few bad reviews about the AC but we had no issues and it was a very muggy week. Wifi worked great. Once we had wifi the communication with hosts was amazing. Cons/improvement opportunities: fire pit area is rather small for a rental that could sleep up to 16. Check in process was rocky as there was no cell service (not their fault) and we rented a boat from the owners, but it was not there so could not get to the cottage right away. They made it right but just a kink in our first day. The dock needs a little bit of TLC, parts of it would go under water at times. Some items weren’t on site that were mentioned in listing."
4 season Family Friendly Beach Cottage in the Bay
10/10 Excellent
"This property is spacious, well maintained and has all the essentials. The beach is shallow and clean and you can jump off the dock. Bring a boat, kayak or paddle board. Our goldens loved the water. Dunchirch has a restaurant, convenience store, gas bar and LCBO. It’s just a 15-20 minute drive away. Note that there’s no wifi so bring your own if you need it. There’s no A/C/Heatpump when we were there- so a really hot day in summer might be uncomfortable and need to be outside in the water. We stayed over late Aug early Sept. The hosts are cool. Highly recommended if you like an old school cottage experience on a beautiful lake - 6 stars"
RIVERDALE RESORT
8/10 Good
"Great stay I would recommend this place for a holiday stat . The only thing is some of the plugs specifically the bedroom plugs did not work so if you use a cpac machine sorry no luck . Otherwise great staff , great food and I think I’ll be back for a holiday there one day for sure . Thanks"
BIG Family & Multi-Family Cottage with Incredible View, Hot Tub & Sauna
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was authentic, cozy and absolutely perfect for our family to get away to celebrate our wedding. The space was beautiful and very comfortable for 20 of us, There was lots to do for all ages- indoors and out. The beautiful large dinning table allowed us to sit together and enjoy meals as a family. The lakeside gazebo and dock are gorgeous and a great place to relax and enjoy the water. The hosts were amazing and communication exceeded our expectations. A beautiful place to stay!"
Fox Den Retreat glamping
8/10 Good
"The quiet cabin was comfortable and great for our one night stay. If we had needed to stay longer, we would have needed more information to turn on the light in the kitchen. Not sure how to use the shower as well. The listing should tell people that they do not need to bring their own sheets and blankets."
Sunset Lakeside Escape on Beautiful Wilson Lake in Port Loring
10/10 Excellent
"This was the perfect getaway at the perfect little cottage on Wilson lake. From taking in the sunsets while lounging on the wonderful screened in porch, to fishing, boating, or swimming from your private dock, it was exactly what we had hoped the week would be and then some! The property is extremely well looked after and the cottage privacy, comfort, and tranquil space exceeded expectations. We had room for both the truck and boat trailer in the driveway. Our host was terrific and went well out of her way to make sure our stay was relaxing and that we had everything we needed. Port Loring adds to the charm as the people are very friendly and the unique character of the town slowed down time for us. Looking forward to coming back!"
Bagz Place : Your private sanctuary to unplug, reset, and connect with nature.
10/10 Excellent
"It was an amazing place to stay. Had a blast and I have nothing but positive things to say about Bagz Place. Top notch, checks all the boxes."
Georgian Bay Riverside Retreat
8/10 Good
"The property and experience was good. We enjoyed the stay very much. However, there were some issues with the description of the property and conditions during the stay. (Constructive criticism only.) For example:- The yard between the buildings was occupied by one of the docks stored there; so not very usable.- The septic bed was leaking fumes making the area between buildings unpleasant if the winds were calm or low.- The garage that was supposed to be available for parking was full of miscellaneous items and materials and therefore not available.- Inside was well equipped but little things needed repair/tightening or cleaning. e.g. loose toilet seats, loose water spiggot, curtain rod that fell off, non-functioning blinds, etc.- The sofa & futon in the main building were very uncomfortable although those in the cabin were very comfortable.- The stereo & DVD player were not present but we had our own devices and used the TVs. Satelite service and internet were excellent.- The general store down the road was very good and had most if not all essentials. Too bad neither advertised this. We didn't need to bring as much food as we did.- Lots of outdoor chairs and benches so we didn't need the ones we brought.- RO water filter for drinking water was a great idea/feature.- There was a row boat but no oars. Didn't know if it was OK to use it so we left it alone. Kayaks were fun for those who could use them (not older folks).- Deck nails protruded. Railing not to code."
