"From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a very welcoming host. He was always available whenever we had questions. The villa was absolutely beautiful and spotless, and the pool quickly became the kids’ best friend throughout the holiday. The old town of Rethymno was just a 20-minute drive away. All in all, a perfect stay – Alexandros was the man with the big smile and always ready to help."

"It was a very nice experience. The villa has value of money."

"Very nice and respectful host, fantastic garden, pool and barbecue, cozy and chilly (aircon) house, lovley village with mini market, butcher and few taverns, close to beaches, mountains and Rethymno. What else…?!?We loved it!Efharisto poli to Voula for everything!!!"

"This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. "

"It was too cold for us to swim but we loved having it available The entire house was amazing, we were so happy here. We felt so peaceful, relaxed and well cared for here! Thank you Michael!"

"The Villa Aloni exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality and facilities. We were looking for somewhere in "hidden Crete" and this property in Maza gave us a sense of rural remoteness but with access to the national road (and easy drives to Hania and Rethymnon) in 5 minutes. The villa was excellently equipped with every modern convenience (except a dishwasher which might have been an asset for a larger party). Everything worked effectively and when the kettle broke, this was replaced...

"Very nice place with pool and a nice view."

"Our family of 4 (2 adults with 2 daughters in early 20s) had a fabulous holiday in Crete. The apartment is wonderful with all the charm of an old building which has been sympathetically restored and modernised to a high standard. All the rooms are large and we found having two bathrooms to be a bonus. The swimming pool is very small, so not ideal for keen swimmers, but excellent to cool down in whilst reading a book and drinking a cold glass of wine! This suited us perfectly! The location of...

"A lovely villa with lots of private outdoor space and amazing views. Close enough to local towns, villages and beaches but in a very quiet non touristy location. "

"Upon arrival we had a few issues with the property, but the owner sorted these for us straight away. The villa was amazing! Clean and bright with great outdoor space. The pool was perfect, as was the view. 'Martin' the visiting cat was a welcome guest! Highly recommend this place for a stay!"

"Great property. Wonderful host. The house was clean and as advertised. Conveniently located close to beaches and towns with restaurants. Would stay here again!"

"Hier hat alles gepasst! Tolle, große Unterkunft, super freundliche Gastgeber, viel Ruhe, schöner Pool. Wir haben rein gar nichts zu beanstanden. Vielen Dank!"

"Lovey place. The view is amazing. Everything was on point. Beaches, restaurants and sights close by. The only bad thing was having to leave. "
