"Beautiful hotel, with very spacious rooms which are like mini apartments! Balconies have a stunning view of the mountains and lake. Great parking directly outside the hotel. "The staff was exceptional! They offered dining at late hours of the evening, which was helpful when we got in late and there weren’t many options in the area. The bus comes right to the hotel and took about 40 minutes with stops to get to Interlaken. We couldn’t get any bikes from the property and there weren’t any bike rental shops in the area so we did have to travel by bus to go on adventures around the area. "

"We were only in Switzerland for a couple of days as part of a larger trip but the Hotel Bären was ideally located to explore the Interlaken region and for hiking around Kandersteg. The views from our room were stunning and the area was quiet and relaxing. It is preferable to have a car when visiting as the hotel is 15 minutes or so up a relatively twisty road. The staff were friendly, check in/out was straightforward and the breakfast was really good! "

"What a beautiful hotel in a lovely, quiet town. Honestly, there wasn't much to do in Hilterfingen - which was exactly what I wanted. The Bellevue is so pretty - charming old building - but so very comfortable. My room wasn't billed as having a lake view - which meant that it was on the side of the hotel. But what I had was a very comfortable balcony, with a stunning view of the lake and mountains on one side, and the charming Hilterfingen Kirche on the other! I could not have been happier...
