"This site is definitely off the beaten track but not far from Cefalu where we went to visit. When we checked in the host told us about an local festival going on that evening so we walked the 8 minutes to the site of then festival and were able to sample some of the local cuisine. Every morning we awoke to the sound of bells from the local sheep herds. On Sunday morning we attended Mass at the local parish where we were part of a 50 year wedding celebration. "Driving around the old town isn't for the faint of heart, but once you parked the car, the house is brilliant, with the cosy mountain house feeling. Clean, filled with little things one might need, especially if one is on a road trip. We had coffee, tea, salt and oil, milk and jam for our breakfast already set. Luca, the owner, was incredibly helpful and very communicative. Would definitely go back (with a smaller car ahah)"

"Great value for the price. The views are stunning, especially at night from multiple terraces. Less than a 10 minute drive to central Piazza Armerina, and there is a supermarket about within walking distance (or a very short drive). This B and B is very welcoming with no codes to enter, time restrictions, or other typical hassles - it was as if we had this large home to ourselves even though there were other guests (who were lodged in different parts of the large home). The host, Luciano, and his staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast, that included interesting cheeses, meats, eggs, cornetti, and coffees, was excellent. The air conditioning and showers functioned well. We could store our wine and other drinks in the common refrigerator with easy access. I highly recommend this place."
