"We would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking to enjoy the beautiful landscape of wine grapes and olive trees but in a very high end location with top notch service. The rooms and the property are well kept. There is a beautiful pool area and lovely little garden like areas. The breakfast buffet was 100x better than anything you would get at a standard US hotel. We probably would not eat at the on site restaurant again, it was a little pricey and not extraordinary. Also the wi-fi in the rooms was not good (you had to be downstairs) so if that is important keep it in mind."

"Giovanni was an amazing host. He was extremely helpful and gave us lots of recommendations of places to visit in the area (i.e., - where to get groceries, desserts, wine, which beaches are best to go to, etc.,). He also hosted a dinner for us as I was celebrating my birthday with family. The layout of the property is very neat. Each guest has their own room with ensuite bathroom with shower. And the outdoor kitchen is fun to use! There is also a very cool authentic outdoor pizza oven and grill to use if you are feeling adventurous like we were. :) Hopefully, I can come back as Cefalú is a very charming town. Thanks for everything, Giovanni!!"

"The house is very cool, kind of like a funky french place. It is tired and needs some updating, but still a neat house. As others have mentioned, the driveway is challenging (to say the least) but once you are there, you are happy.The house did smell of mold when we arrived, but we opened the shutters and sired it out and it was OK after that- although there is mold in some of the bathrooms. If you have mold allergies, this might become an issue.Communication started off good, and then after we checked ourselves in, I literally never heard back from our contact again. This includes after I reached out after a power outage and we had no running water in the morning after the big storm. We were lucky, as my brother is an electrician and he managed to find the circuit and get it flipped and going again.Value wise, I would say it was too expensive based on what the photos showed and what shape the actual house is currently in.And the lack of communication was disconcerting- I was actually hoping our contact was OK as I had never experienced something like that before."

"Even though there was a large picture of a swimming pool in the advertisement, it cost 30 euros per person for an hour and a half. This included the spa facility but we were not interested in the spa, only the pool. Also we were unlucky when a group of cyclists (30 of them) had dinner at the same time as us on the first day and they were so loud that we could not talk amongst ourselves. Otherwise the food was very good and so was the service."
