Dear Mrs GRIFFITHS, First of all we would like to inform you that we share your disappointment. This is not at all the experience that we would like our guests to have in our brand hotels. On arrival you mentioned a free room category change confirmed by a receptionist, we have notified you that no mention was made of this on your booking through our internal usual procedure. You told us that when you booked your standard room the confirmation that was sent to you by expedia confirmed the fact of having a bath in the room, we asked you to provide us with this confirmation, as you did not have it in your possession. We therefore tried to simulate a reservation for a standard room on the Expedia site, and the bath did not appear on the confirmation. You told us that Expedia had to rectify this 'error', but to date no error in the standard room confirmations has been reported by us, or other guest to Expedia. We offered to accommodate you in our only available category, premuim room, adding a charge of 50 to meet your request for a bath as requested, high floor room also giving access to our private club lounge, sea view with kettle and tea and coffee making facilities but you categorically refused. We are sorry that the solutions proposed did not meet your expectations. Be assured that we do all we can to satisfy as closely as possible the requests made based on the initials reservations.
