Enjoyable retreat

The Villa in the Vines is absolutely the perfect spot for a get away retreat with friends. It’s ideally located away from busy streets and noise in the middle of a vineyard. Rob and Kathy (hosts) have thought of everything in their villa to make you feel comfortable. With three bedrooms, everyone got their own room! It was a close drive to shopping, restaurants and of course the wineries. We would highly recommend this spot!

It was very well stocked with supplies - she even had coffee/filters ready for us. She checked with us to be sure our accommodations were meeting our needs. The location is perfect and it was a beautiful place to stay. Spotlessly clean. We hope to return next year!

The house is a short distance outside NOL. The hosts were having a reunion and everyone was friendly. The house is very clean and quiet. Nice place to stay if you are visiting NOL.

Beautiful villa in Niagara on the Lake

Very clean and roomy home with many well thought out amenities. Fantastic location close to many local delights and vineyards. We loved listening to all the birds and the wind blowing through the large maple trees on the property. A beautiful and peaceful retreat perfect for families and friends to gather and enjoy quality time together. Great hosts Rob and Kathy responded quickly to all questions and requests. It’s such a cute space and lovely to be in the vineyard. So close to many wineries and just a five-minute drive from the old town area. Just a heads up that there is not a full kitchen, just a microwave and toaster – but there are so many amazing restaurants around you won’t want to cook anyway! The upstairs bathroom only has a bathtub so everyone has to shower in the one bathroom downstairs. There is a firepit on the property but it is only for host use, guests are not allowed to use it. The hosts do live on site and can answer any of your questions.

Fantastic Spot to Stay

Villa in the Vines was the perfect spot to stay for our girls weekend away. You are surrounded by picturesque vineyards. The house was beautifully decorated, and the three bedrooms were extremely comfortable. We were close to all the wineries as well as the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Our hosts thought of every little detail to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. If it had been a little nicer weather, the patio and fire pit area would have been utilized more. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and we hope to stay here in the future.

Wonderful home and area

The hosts were great and accommodating. The area is beautiful and lots to see in the town of Niagra-On-The-Lake. Close to Niagra Falls and that area as well. Got to visit wineries and brought some home. Very clean and homey house. We didn't realize about no stove but we got along. Would stay when it was warmer then we could have grilled out. Still was a wonderful stay and can't say enough good about the experience,

Great spot, hosts were very friendly and the unit was clean, we would stay again. Only thing I would note is that the 2nd bathroom shower wasn’t in working condition when we were there. Not sure if this was noted in the listing and ultimately wasn’t a big deal, but we did have to share the shower between 6 guests. Other than that the place was great.

Field of Dreams

In Field of Dreams, kevin costner's dead father comes back to life to play ball and asks his son " Is this heaven?" In the case of this property, the answer is yes. Quiet, surrounded on all sides by vineyards, cooking steak or salmon on the Vermont Castings grill and eating at the patio table while the sun is going down.(Hint put the table umbrella UP so you don't have to look around it to see the view) After dinner sit around the fire in the backyard pit and wait for dark. Short drive or bike ride to the old town and wineries everywhere. Take your bikes and ride the river trail to the horseshoe Falls. Very bike friendly place

Niagara Falls without the crowds

We spent 3 nights here to have easy access to Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake and Buffalo, NY. 4 adults in our 60’s. We had to share 1 shower but otherwise was an adequate place. Very peaceful location.
