We had the best weekend here. Exactly what we needed, a beautiful and relaxing few days. Weβve decided to make it an annual getaway so will be booking again soon. Thank you!
Great stay the weather was perfect , and the Bach is a Bach which was great ,right on the waters edge close to walks and boat ramp
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We areived late around 7pm and left by 6am the next day for the ferry. It was perfect for what we needed and very quiet and relaxing.A pity we couldn't stay and get a real chance at taking advantage of the propertys location which was stunning.
Had a great relaxing stay the week before Easter with some lovely mild weather in the Bay.
Bach was perfect for our family of 5 and was great being able to bring our fur baby too.
Had everything we needed with a great layout. Beautiful view with morning coffee in bed! Lovely swimming a short walk down to the foreshore and great fishing for the kids off the jetty too - my daughter caught a good sized gurnard! Loved the pukeko family right outside. Overall a wonderful, peaceful stay - will be back soon!
A beautiful family beach holiday crib right by the seashore. Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. We couldnβt have dreamed of anything better than what we had the privilege of enjoying here thank you to the hosts who share their slice of paradise
Absolutely loved our week long stay, classic kiwi bach in absolutely stunning location. The views alone offer so much tranquil; easy access to walking tracks and beach. We traveled with dog, itβs very pet friendly accommodation, large garden with trees for shade on a hot day, though not fully fenced. But still perfect place for those travelling with dog. Short drive to Picton, Blenheim, or Havelock North. Highly recommend.
It had great views and it was a well set up classic kiwi bach. The annex however was not suitable for either of our young children to sleep in which was a surprise when we arrived. The annex was further away from the house than expected and very dusty and dirty. The previous occupants had also not cleaned after their stay which meant we had to clean the kitchen and floors on arrival. Overall it was a nice stay in a great location.

3 night stay
the property is in a lovely spot with a beautiful view and access to the water - this was its main appeal π
The property is fairly close to Picton so access to shopping is fine
It is obviously a much loved family Bach, owned by the same family for many years.
I wasn't expecting 5 star accomodation - but everything is very tired looking and could do with a spruce up.π’
Main problem for us was level of cleanliness. Guests are asked to clean when they leave, but people have different standards and for me it needed a good spring clean. It would be better to charge more and have a proper cleaner π
Our third stay at this gorgeous wee bach. It's beautifully positioned, has everything you need, and the hosts were very communicative and helpful. Love it!
House was warm and cozy. Reminded me of my childhood holidays. Only real issue had, was with wifi connection in and out. Otherwise we all enjoyed our stay.
