Perfect family holiday
An ideal family holiday! So much fun for children, exploring the farm, feeding and grooming the animals. The location is fabulous and in a beauty area on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. We stayed in Cider Cottage but would love to come back and stay in another cottage as well

Little gem
Lovely relaxing stay in a quiet little cottage. The owners were so welcoming and the communication was too notch.
The grounds that the accommodation was on are amazing and it all felt so tranquil and peaceful.
We had everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen and the beds were quite comfy.
Our cottage had nowhere to eat indoors but we did have a little outdoor table and chairs.

Cottage had everything we needed, situated in a perfect location for tranquility. There was plenty of choices for eating out in the vicinity as long as you are happy driving, which we were. The location is also spot on for visiting attractions in both south and North Devon and also Cornwall if you wish.
Everything was perfect, the beds were comfortable as was the sofa .The owners were always available if you needed anything, but equally left you to get on and enjoy your visit. Would definitely recommend this place and we really hope to return.

Outstanding stay
We had fantastic stay with two dogs. Cottage outstanding, area beautiful. Hosts fantastic. Great accommodation, well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Beautiful area and oh so peaceful within few minutes drive to Dartmoor, Torque, Brixham and many more great places. It was lambing season so it was lovely to see lambs playing. It was home from home experience and we can’t recommend this place highly enough. Book it because you won’t be disappointed.

Friendly farm stay in a good location
Lovely stay on the farm, the hosts are very welcoming and were happy to include the children in feeding the animals (chickens, donkeys, pigs, sheep, cows) and also provided fishing nets for them to use at the pond. They sell the eggs from the chickens too.
The cottage (stable cottage) is what you'd expect from a farm stay, granite walls and a few creaky floorboards with big rooms and a well equipped kitchen. It's also got it's own garden space out the front with a table and chairs. They were also happy for us to store our bikes in one of the barns.
The information provided about the local area is excellent and the hosts are very knowledgeable and happy to give more detail and advice. A good base to explore the area, with Dartmoor, Brixham, Torquay and Exmouth all short drives away as well as lots of good pubs serving good food.

Highly recommended
We had a great time. The farm is well located and the owners make guests feel very comfortable. Everything is clean and you have everything you need. The house is larger than it looks in the pictures.

A lovely week in Devon
Quiet location deep in countryside, friendly farm animals and dogs. Nearest town is Chudleigh, a little over a mile walk away, but roads are very narrow, my wife was not keen to try the walk because of this.
All cottage equipment is fine. Only slight quibble the beds a little uncomfortable, but aren't they all when away from home.
Owners friendly and welcoming.
Farm fields and views, pond, barbecue, fire pit all great. A lovely week in Devon.

Really nice cottage within a working farm. Wi-Fi signal was great which was a relief as otherwise mobile connection was non-existent. Hosts were really friendly too.

reat stay!
We had a great time, the weather was great, our property was clean, well equipped and pet friendly. Julie met us and explained things clearly and concisely.
The cottage was very good value for the week. The host was very helpful and accommodation was great - probably the most comfortable bed we've had in a holiday cottage. It is not far from the A38 so made it a great base for exploring the area, as you could get to most places quite quickly - we enjoyed coastal walks from Sidmouth, and in the South Hams area. It was also ideally based for Dartmoor. Exeter itself is close for a bad weather day.
