5 The Strand is a townhouse beautifully designed over four floors. This house has two balconies with a glimpse of the sea in the distance, situated 75m from Porth Beach. The property boasts an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area.

This is a fabulous seaside escape for an idyllic spring or winter break. Start your day with the best breakfast ever at Fore Street Cafe and then take a trip to nearby Padstow for a fantastic lunch at Rick Stein or if you want to stay closer to home, spend your day walking the coastal path to Watergate Bay and if you're feeling adventurous, rain or shine, hire a wetsuit and surf/body board and brave the waves. Finish your evening off with a home-cooked meal and a glass of bubbly in the hot tub under the protection of our fantastic louvred pergola, perfect for stargazing with the option of closing the roof cover on rainy days.

If the English weather has kept you inside for the day, you can still relax on the large L-shaped sofa, cosy up with a cup of hot chocolate, and enjoy a movie on our 65-inch curved TV. You're spoilt for choice with access to a complete Sky Q package, including Netflix and Disney+ subscriptions. Alternatively, if you're looking for something more active, get competitive and grab a table tennis paddle, some darts or an Xbox controller in our games room.

It's the perfect winter getaway.

What we offer:
The property offers two private parking spaces within the gated complex. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need and a utility room on the bottom floor offering a washing machine and dryer. The garage is accessible through the utility room, where you'll find a fully equipped games room with table tennis, Xbox and dart board.
If you've decided to take a trip to the beach, especially if you've brought a furry friend, then we have an outdoor shower just in front of the garage, which can also be utilised for cleaning wetsuits and surfboards.
The newest amenity the house has to offer is a luxury Villeroy and Boch hot tub covered by a pergola with an adjustable sunroof so you can gaze at the stars or be protected from the rain*.

The top floor bedrooms both contain ensuites, and all of the rooms have TVs with access to all Sky channels. All the double beds in the property can be split into twin beds upon request. We will email you within a week of your stay to inform you of the code for the lock box to access the property key, and if you require any of the beds to be split, please reply to the email to let us know at this point.

*Disclaimer: There are currently no photos of the hot tub/pergola being situated within our property. We are installing a brand new Villeroy & Boch hot tub; it will be complete by mid-October and placed on the garden patio alongside the seating area. In addition, there will also be a shower installed in the downstairs bathroom by this date.*
