In the past I had wonderful stays at this property, however I have had several issues with management during my last stay.
The room was not ready upon arrival. I was promised a phone call when the room was ready - after over an hour still no call. The room smelled overwhelmingly of astringent chemical cleaning product that was overused. The tub stopper in the room did not fit the tub. I called the front desk as I had a toddler waiting for a bath and waited over an hour for the correct tub stopper to arrive. Then we discovered that the jets in the tub did not function. We reported this to the front desk - nobody addressed the issue or even attempted to respond during our 3 day stay.
I received a call from the manager on 2/22 stating that I would receive a refund for one night. The refund never came. I called a second time on 3/20, still no refund. I called a third time today (4/2), and was told the manager was unavailable, but that the refund was "just approved." Nothing is showing on my account.
I believe I was given a discounted rate intentionally for a room with a broken tub. I also believe that I am being jerked around by management about the refund.
I hate to leave a negative review for a third party for management's failure, but today is the last day I can leave a review here, and the "just processed today" excuse on the refund is too convenient to believe.
