The Lookout - Oregon Beach Vacations

The Lookout is a beautiful, cozy and bright two story, two bed, two bath house overlooking Beverly Beach just north of Newport. This rental has everything you need for a wonderful relaxing coastal vacation with room for up to four guests. Experience the brilliant sunsets over the sparkling blue Pacific while relaxing in the outdoor hot tub, or explore the beach with your friends and family. The spiral staircase beckons guests up to the romantic primary suite equipped with a mini kitchen, fireplace and access to a covered deck. Make memories with your loved ones while looking out on the scenery above the lush and private landscape. There are two flat screen TVs, two fireplaces, granite countertops, movies and games galore. The downstairs bedroom offers one king size bed. Beverly Beach State Park provides convenient beach access and is only a short ten minute walk from The Lookout. This vacation home is attractively decorated, and the open floor plan offers spectacular unobstructed ocean views from the comfort of the living room, dining area, kitchen and both bedrooms. Bring your binoculars and try to spot Beverly Beach's resident grey whales! They are often seen feeding year round just off shore. There are many fabulous restaurants in Newport's Nye Beach area and famous bay front, but if you prefer to dine in, the kitchen is well equipped, with everything you need to make a wonderful homemade meal. Gas and charcoal grills are also available for guest use if you're hoping to make your favorite barbecued steaks. Come down to The Lookout today, and explore the Oregon coast with your family and friends on your next vacation!

Beautiful views with a few drawbacks

The location was great the door lock didn't work properly so access and locking up was a big problem. The septic system is so full the shower doesn't drain and the bath fills as you shower. Great views hot tub was great

Wonderful getaway

Quick coast trip

Beautiful location! Overall out stay was great. Quiet and relaxing. Two items to note: spiral staircase is not for everyone as steps are far apart, slippery, and short; Front door does not stay closed in the wind unless dead-bolted. Other than that, property was great!

This place was exactly as advertised. The views were stunning and the hot tub was fabulous after a day out in the rain. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We will definitely stay here again if it's available when we go back. AMAZING!!!

Lovely view of the ocean

We enjoyed staying in this house with such a lovely view of the ocean. We took some walks in the neighborhood and also walked on the beach. The master suite is quite comfortable, and the view is best from the deck off the master suite. There are some amazing sunsets!

Beautiful view; perfect location between Depoe Bay and Newport. Difficult to see much of the ocean from the main floor bedroom, but trimming foliage a little could help. Otherwise, it's quiet, charming, perfect for two couples or families. I recommend sitting in the blue chairs at cliffside, and drifting away in the scene before you!

Gorgeous Views

Views were absolutely amazing! Perfect place for two couples. Hot tub was hot and had a perfect view, too. Beds were a little soft for our taste but everything was clean and cozy. If you're planning to cook while staying here, be sure to bring all seasoning and oils. Otherwise, very clean. Quiet neighborhood.

Great location, beautiful views. Quiet neighborhood. House was as advertised. We were not able to access the laundry facilities. The door was padlocked. The host did respond promptly when asked. However, we were never able to locate the mysterious‘crystal bowl’ that contained the keys for the padlock.

Pretty view but wouldn’t stay again.

The house was located where you could see the ocean from afar. The hot tub was nice. Unfortunately I would be aware that when we stayed there the house smelt very musky. I almost instantly gave me a migraine. I definitely would not recommend someone staying there if they are sensitive to strong odor.

Great house with everything you need

We loved this house. It had great views and everything you need for a stay. The hot tub is also nice. There is, however, a mold problem they need to take care of. You can smell it in the house and it’s especially bad in the downstairs bedroom. Our daughter couldn’t sleep in there because it gave her a headache.

Beautiful Scenic Retreat

Beautiful views! I loved my stay which enabled me to work remotely with no internet issues and enjoy time with my daughters. They explored the area from Newport Bay to Depoe Bay and Siletz Bay during the day while I worked and we met up at the beach or a restaurant later in the day. We all enjoyed a little fire in the fire pit looking out over the ocean. The balcony was a lovely spot as well. There's a dog park near by which our small dog enjoyed. It was very easy to balance work and play with a great location right off the highway but high enough up to not see the highway, just ocean!
