"Our room over the farmhouse was very spacious with a queen size bed and a second room with a large, old couch. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bistro and cafe were closed the night we were there and while we knew this going in this setup turned turned out to be a bit too remote on a cool, rainy night in Craftsbury. This became even more apparent without access to a TV. The listing said there was a hot tub on the premises but we couldn't find it. We never saw any staff...

"This was an amazing place to stay. Man taking care of the lodge was super friendly and quickly showed us our room. The atmosphere of the lodge was spectacular and they have beautiful antiques all around. Our room had a balcony that gave us the perfect view of the lake. If you’re ever in this area I highly recommend staying here."

"The lodge and its surroundings were beautiful, and the staff was very kind. However, the room name didn’t match what was listed on the itinerary. There were flies in the room throughout the entire stay, and the toilet wasn’t working properly. A notice explained that, because we were in an older room, a space heater was required—but even with it, the room stayed cold. For the price, the stay wasn’t worth it despite the friendly staff and lovely setting. "
