Perfect location and a beautiful property. The home was well stocked, very clean and just seconds from the heart of balboa island. Our host was communicative and helpful.
All I want to say is I would love to live at this place! Professionally decorated and clean as can be. The location was perfect for all of us as we liked to stroll along the main street. It was such a great house and such friendly neighbors!

We loved our stay! The home is centrally located on the island - my husband loved the close access to a good cup of coffee (across the street), I loved being able to take a gorgeous walk to the ferry, and our son loved the proximity to the sand. The home is immaculately clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hosts were generous and forthright about an unforeseen issue, which was truly very kind and gracious. We've stayed in the upstairs unit, too, which is also fantastic! Highly recommend either (or both for a large family!) Enjoy!
This property was perfect for our family reunion and vacation. We loved the close proximity to Marine Ave, as the kids would venture off to shop and eat at their leisure.

I have been renting places in Newport Beach and on Balboa Island for about 15 years and this was probably my favorite property to date! It is beautifully decorated, it’s very clean and has everything you need and more! The bathrooms are beautiful and updated and beds are comfy! Plenty of towels and extras ! We walked in to find a large basket with all kinds of snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us! The communication was superb and the location was so convenient to the shops and restaurants (you can literally see Huskins coffee shop on the corner from your front porch). I would definitely rent here again!
This was a perfect rental for our family of 5. Ron has thought of every possible thing we might have needed. Very well stocked with thoughtful snacks and wine, and very clean. Having a parking spot on Balboa Island was fantastic, and we were literally a 30-second walk to all the shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. Coffee on the front patio was a lovely way to start the day. Highly recommend.
This was the absolute perfect property for us, our two adult kids and their spouses. Very generous living room seating, large dining area, kitchen with everything! Location is one block off of the Main Street allowing us to run to the grocery store, enjoy the cafes and shopping. Easy walk to the ferry. It was great having a designated parking spot. And a shout out to Rob who amazoned extra coffee over to us within hours when our coffee loving family needed more coffee!
The property was perfect for our stay. Location was close to the shops and excellent coffee! Parking was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, snacks and water bottles- always a big plus. Beds are comfortable and the place was super clean. We especially enjoyed the living so we could watch some college football and movies. Highly recommend this property. The only thing that wasn’t “perfect” was you could hear the folks upstairs waking around but we’re early risers so it didn’t bother us at all! Overall it exceeded our expectations! We’ll be back again for sure.
The location couldn’t be more perfect - one short block off the main avenue on Balboa Island. Restaurants less than 2 blocks away, a short walk to the water, and just a great place to be. The house was perfect for our 2 families, and when we had more people drop by for a quick visit, it was a great space to get together and coordinate plans. The rooms were lovely — new, spacious, well appointed, and very comfortable. Nice kitchen for making our own breakfasts. Great amenities, like Keurig coffee maker. Dining table that comfortably seats 6-8, nice sliding doors and patio made the inside connect to the outside easily. We had a lovely time. Would highly recommend.
This is a spacious comfortable and well designed 3 bedroom rental just a half block from the main street with shops, cafes, and restaurants. The master bathroom is very spacious and both bathrooms have walk in showers. The kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated the snacks and wine. The outdoor patio is a nice place to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks, although this is a house currently under construction across the street. It was great being steps away from everything, but that also meant that it was a bit on the noisy side with foot and vehicle traffic on Balboa Ave that runs along the side of the house. That said, we would rent this property again.
Our family of 5 came to the Newport Beach area to attend a wedding. We were looking for a house that would allow us to go on walks, grab coffee and cook quick meals. Ron's house was perfect! First, the location is ideal for shopping, dining or just exploring the waterfront. The area seems to be primarily vacation rentals so there were a lot of people out and about the whole time. That said, it was very quiet. I never heard a peep. The only inconvenience truly is that the city shutoff our water one evening for repairs, but we got plenty of headsup and planned around it. Second, the beds are comfy and Ron truly has thought of everything. There's a grocery store right off the island with a pharmacy next door. We made frequent trips and loved the convenience. The furnishings are quite stylish and the spacious master bath was a treat. All in all a phenomenal place. We have stayed at many rentals over the years and this ranks at the top. Nicely done, Ron!
