We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend.
The lake is beautiful and the ruins of the church down the street made for a lovely after dinner exploration with the family. It is a very picturesque and peaceful place. There are also several things to do nearby. We visited Limerick, Bunratty Castle, the Bronze Age village (craggonouen?) Quinn Abbey, Ennis and the Cliffs of Moher.
The home is a bit dated, but very comfortable. Really, it only added to the ambience. A few things broke, but the host was AMAZING and so helpful and kind. We really loved staying here. It was very homey, and cozy, and we had lots of big family dinners and cozy nights in the living room with the fire. There were even a few toys lying around for my 3 yo daughter to stay entertained. And the big TV had all the channels and subscriptions you could want, and most importantly my daughters favorite show.
Thanks to the host for a lovely stay. Highly recommend.
