"This place was amazing with the the most incredible views from the deck. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Our host showed us our rooms and was very nice and accommodating with any questions we had. I would love to stay here again!"

"Great property! The staff were friendly and efficient from the moment we booked. The room and public areas were clean, the hot tub and sauna were absolutely dreamy, and the views of every room over the lake gave us the peace we were looking for. It was a bit noisy die to the traffic of the highway, but if you're a heavy sleeper, or use a noise app (like me) it'll help drown that out.
Close enough to downtown and the harbour, and far enough out of town that it's easy to explore north of the city. Highly recommend! "
"We had a late night stay at the Buccaneer Inn before leaving for Victoria in the morning and so happy we booked it. The room was well set up, parking and reception easily accessible to the room and the beds were extremely comfortable. Everyone was well rested after a long day and check out was simple. A lovely choice if you're staying in Nanaimo!"
"If you’re open to bare-bones, inexpensive, quirkiness, remember this is a hostel (though I rented a private room. Very accommodating, all requests fulfilled. Friendly staff."
