4 Stars for room and ammenities, as it was above what was expected for the price

I rang prior to checking in to arrange for after hours entry, can’t remember the name of the man who answered, I assumed it was the owner. He jokingly said “ After hours? You’ll have to stay somewhere else.” I happily went along with his joke as I’m a bit of a joker myself. However, I could see how this would potentially upset some customers if they took it the wrong way.
When I arrived, the car park was almost full. I managed to find one at the other end of the complex to where my room was situated. I was startled by the same guy who ran outside while I was parking, screaming at me. He said, “you’re parking the wrong way, you need to turn around.” I was a bit taken back by his behaviour which made me nervous, so I decided to reverse in. This seemed to make him angrier and he proceeded abuse me. At this point I retaliated and suggested I shouldn’t stay there at all. After all his abuse, and what seemed to be one of his tenants also taking shots at me. He finally explained the direction my car was supposed to face, which then made sense.
To the owner. I understand customer service is a difficult job, as I also work in an industry that requires constant customer communication. I feel this altercation could have been avoided had you just explained to me CLEARLY on which direction to park. We all have bad days, unfortunately your behaviour has resulted in this review.
