"Really lovely guest house in a quiet location but just a short walk from the railway station and centre of town. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the host extremely welcoming."
"Room and facilities were really clean. Nice breakfast options; good value for money. Very convenient for the main rail/bus station, parks and city centre. "

"Nice room—small but adequate. Great beds! Shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was worth the $15. The location of the hotel was perfect. We walked to the castle, High Street and the Cardiff Market. Great restaurant choices and decent shopping within walking distance. We also had drinks and played games at the bar. Nice friendly sta"
"My wife and I stayed overnight for a show in the city. The staff were friendly and the room was specious and clean. The breakfast options were excellent, including many vegan options. "
"We enjoyed the stay. Lovely pool and sauna. Very quiet, beautiful views from balcony. Complementary bikes so we had a nice bike ride around the bay. A bit disappointed with the service in the bar and restaurant, long wait for a pint and and overcooked poached eggs for breakfast which supposed to be made to order as from a la carte menu. Overall great stay and we will be back. "
"All the staff were very friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy.
If you were later than 09.00 am for breakfast, the choice was not so good than if you had turned up earlier, that was our feeling. The Saturday evening meal was not totally satisfactory because there was not enough staff and we booked a table at 20.30 but did not eat until 21.45. The server did his best but was over powered with the demands of trying to keep up with the orders. Maybe the kitchen staff were understaffed as well.
On Sunday morning breakfast we heard staff saying we have no more cutlery left .
If Saturday night is the busiest dining night, then adequate staff should be available.
We were very tolerant and could have made a big fuss and refused to pay for the service we received, however we felt sorry for the person involved who was trying to cope under difficult circumstances "
