"One night stay for early flight. Good breakfast and comfy room."

"I was not impressed with the standard of service provided by the hotel. The staff were either unhelpful and unfriendly, or friendly but untrained to deal adequately with the public. The main complaint I have was the absence of housekeeping of the room, which I was unaware of before the booking and which I would not expect from a 3 star hotel. In addition we had to collect towels and even toilet paper from the reception. Because no housekeeping was provided by the hotel, the toilet was not cleaned during our stay and we had to clean it ourselves!"

"Huge plus is the location in between Holyrood and Princes St / Royal Mile. And easy access to buses to get around. Staff helpful. Didn’t use the hotel bar or restaurant but they looked good. Only real negative was we got unlucky and one of the two lifts was being repaired and out of service. Pool was good by hotel standards. Has a gym but did not use it. Did not have breakfast included in my rate so simply found something nearby. Seemed expensive overall but then everything in the city centre is. No bargains to be had (in June)."

"This is a place for a quick overnight stay between flights or arrival and departure. It is an older facility that is maintained well. Overall, it felt damp, tight, and a little loud--the walls are thin between rooms. But, it did the job of providing a place of rest between destinations! And the staff was helpful, kind, and informative with all our questions being from the US."
