"A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too! "

"Lovely accommodation. A really comfortable bed, even noted what make the mattress was. I like cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped. Safe secure garden for our dog. Parking was a little difficult,as someone staying down the road parked outside and didn't move there vehicle for several days. We walked to Newborough, then on to Rhoscolyn, throughout out our stay."

"The windmill is a wonderful place to stay!Its location is a 3 minute drive to a local shop, and 5 minutes to a beach. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, only broken by the RAF jets chorus from around 8am until about 5.30, which I loved anyway.The beds were changed but the property wasn’t fully checked, the fridge & all crockery were filthy from the previous tenants, and food was left in the freezer (not the end of the world). Please note that the cleaning journal where you leave reviews has many pages ripped out…..Bring anti-slip shoes for the stairs, and ensure the fittest are in the top room, as even for me it was tiring - you cannot carry luggage upstairs so unload downstairs and carry clothes etc up instead.The internet wasn’t great, so keep in mind to pre-load programmes onto pads for children, also the kids channels aren’t accessible on the tv in the front room either.The decking around the base of the windmill is in a dangerous state sadly (I work in construction and civil engineering) with broken boards, chunks missing and exposed nails and screws - this needs addressing immediately! Replace with composite and it’ll hold its colour and last 30 years. If you visit PLEASE don’t let children or anyone over 12 stone walk around the decking, it is a huge drop below and I’m not exaggerating when I say it is THAT dangerous.The windmill has a nice plot of land to the front which is ideal for children to play, just remember there is a watercourse to the rear."

We had excellent weather on the second day, but the house was comfortable even in the blustery cold night that followed. Only negative, as mentioned by another poster here, is the electric shower in the master bathroom. "

Everything was perfect for us and the garden was what sold for us with our dog, it was large enough and secure for her to have a play and do her business! It was super clean, comfortable and spacious! Close to the beach with only being a short drive away which is what we loved! The only down side is that a week just wasn't long enough in this beautiful property! We can't wait to book again!!! "
