"The positives: the staff are friendly, efficient, and helpful, but not obtrusive. The room was nice, with no problems with the facilities. There are USB A and C sockets at the plug points. Everything just worked, so we had no need to ask for explanation. It has a pleasant village setting (NOTE - Hotels.com suggested this was IN Gainsborough - it isn't.) You can walk around the village, which has shops/cashpoint in the Co-Op shop/takeaways and pubs, and a really nice old parish church just a...

"Clean and confortable although wifi in the room was poor or non existant. We needed yo go downstairs to get a decent connection. Plenty of parking and the room was very quiet. We ate in the pub which was good value. Staff friendly and helpful."

"Good sized room and the bed was huge. The rooms are above the bar area which was fine as its wasn't too noisy. The car parking is easy as there is loads of space. I used this location as it was a short drive to the Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. the kitchens close about 8:30 ish so if you are late back for food I can recommend the Indian about 100mtrs down the road. All in all a nice location for a few days away"

"Nice hotel, room well equipped, breakfast service was slow and only one cereal available, if you love spiders theres a big one in its web in the velxlux window above the stairs that lead up to the rooms. Other than that good value for £70 a night bnb but not great when saturday prices are £167 bnb on a Saturday night. Down side to was reception didnt open until 10 am on a Saturday even though sign said 9am. Would feel better if receotion was maned 24/7"
