Holiday Inn Express Newark Airport Elizabeth by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Jebbie seemed bothered when we checked in. After attempting to leave the parking lot, I had to go back into figure out why I was going to have to pay twenty dollars. She came out with food all over her face, crumpled my ticket and then gave me the parking pass she should have given me when I checked in.
Breakfast was fantastic as was the coffee machine."
"Excellent stay. Staff is very capable, efficient and friendly. I appreciated the grace on checkout time so I could take a meeting from my room. Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Best part: free breakfast, including not only waffles but also whipped cream and chocolate chips to delight my inner child. Would definitely stay again."
"Stayed a night each before 2 international trips this year. Rooms were nice. Clean and quiet. Beds were excellent. Pillows were a bit soft for my taste so on the 2nd trip, i brought mine from home. All in all a good spot to stay. We will use this hotel again. "
"No water bottles in the fridge which annoyed me considering I was on the 7th floor and arrived at midnight... going back down to get them was exhausting so I had to wait til morning. "
".My stay was very peaceful and the beds are very comfortable
The view was very nice as well,,
The only problem I have are the shower curtains, for that kind of hotel,,,,they should provide better shower curtains "
"The room itself was clean and comfortable. The only issue is parking. When I checked in and advised the clerk I needed parking I was advised to "park wherever I felt comfortable and if you can't find a spot just park in the fire lane." There were cars parked everywhere to the point that it was difficult to drive through the property. Needless to say I didn't sleep well the first night in fear that my vehicle would get towed away as I had to park in the fire lane. "
"Overall the room was nice. However, I requested a shower accessible when booking and instead got a standard which was awkward for me. In addition, I requested a 5am wake up call that never happened. Thankfully, I woke up early on my own. "
