a great birthday dinner

the place was very nice and clean. the bedrooms were nice and comfy. the kitchen was stocked with pots, utensils, and seasonings. the outlets weren’t working at first but after contracting the host, he was quick to respond and helped solve the problem effectively. the neighborhood was nice and quiet. overall an amazing stay and i would come again.

Uh, let's start with the 3 cop cars next door when we pulled up. Shabby street, unloaded our car parked behind 3 apparently abandoned vehicles, and trudged up dangerous stairway that looked like a tenement in a street-gang neighborhood, trying to avoid putting our hands on the filthy handrails and walls in the unsafe stairway. Welcome! The place looked like it was painted with a mop. Embarrassed to welcome our family in to dress and pre-game for an elegant wedding. Holes in the walls, funky cheap pictures on the walls, etc. Yay! A bag of ice in the freezer! That's why we awarded you another star.Beds were fine, and that's what we were there for, but, Dude, don't make it embarrassing for people with guests!Putting a profile picture of the bridge or knife block doesn't represent. It's a place to crash if you don't care where you wake up.I suspect many previous renters declined to offer a review..

I don't want to say that the host lied in the post, But left a few key details out. Parking is a single parking spot shared for the whole building and it is a very tight spot. I stayed here to bring my daughter to a concert. We didn't get home until 1230 am and at 730 doorbell is going off and woke my newborn up. There is no off street physically available. Although every room has AC, They don't all work great. Although not a huge deal, Would have been nice to know that hallway leading to apartment is very narrow, Unloading was kind of a pain because I was bringing more then can fit on the first trip up. Overall the stay was not bad. Neighbors that needed to go to work were very nice, apartment was clean. 1 or 2 more TVs would be nice for a 4 bedroom apartment. Aside of the hidden details it was a decent stay.
