Unfortunately, the property presented multiple serious issues that made our stay stressful, unsafe, and far below the standard represented in the listing.Upon arrival, we immediately encountered several red flags:The apartment door was unlocked, and we were told someone named “Todd” would arrive with keys. He did not show up for two hours, causing us to miss a 4:30 PM paid event because we could not leave our belongings unattended in an unsecured unit.During this time, two individuals entered the residence without notice, asked who I was, and informed me the property was not legally permitted for short‑term rentals. This created a highly uncomfortable and unsafe situation for my group.The interior temperature was 53 degrees, and the mini‑split units were not functioning. We were traveling with seven women and a one‑month‑old infant, making the lack of heat unacceptable.One of the primary reasons I booked this property was the washer and dryer, which were not operational until Saturday, the day before our departure. We were unable to use the amenity we specifically paid for.These issues — security concerns, illegal rental status, lack of heat, missing amenities, and significant delays — caused substantial stress and disrupted our plans.
