Our stay at this stunning Brooklyn Brownstone was wonderful. The place is decorated with great taste and inspires the soul. The beds were super comfortable, the showers were gorgeous, the kitchen would impress any famous chef. Everything you need is there. Tatiana takes no short cuts in providing a splendid space for rest and recuperation. I'm a light sleeper and this place was quiet enough for me. We hope to come back!
This home is absolutely stunning and the owners were very accommodating! It was a little tricky to be in a high-end space with two young children and a baby (we knew this going into it) but we made it work and our family had such a lovely stay. We hope to rent this home again in the future.
It was wonderful to be nestled into a neighborhood in Brooklyn, where we easily found food at local cafes and grocery stores and transit into the City. The brownstone has been beautifully restored. We were comfortable in all the rooms and soothed by the ambiance.
Even more incredible than the pictures and descriptions. Quiet and peaceful, one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in. Would stay here every single time I visit the city. Dream home and the hosts are so welcoming, respectful and responsive. Made for a wonderful stay and incredible start to the new year.
We had a great stay in Tatiana's lovely brownstone. It is spacious, beautifully decorated throughout, well-equipped and is a very short walk from the subway - perfect for those wanting to visit Manhattan as well as exploring Brooklyn. The photos give you an accurate feel for the house but the bedrooms are a lot larger than they look and the optional fourth bedroom (converted from the dressing room) is still very comfortable, even just on an airbed. One thing I would say is I don't think it is ideally suited for families with children younger than teenagers. It's an old house and as the hosts live in the garden apartment, even modest amounts of noise can be an issue.I also expected the laundry facilities and dryer to be accessible as they are included as amenities in the listing. However this is only available as a service a) if you're staying at least a week b) only on two specific days and c) for an additional 30. Overall a great place and I'd highly recommend it, especially for groups of adults.
Fantastic property. Definitely a candidate for booking again. There was tons of space for our family. Extremely communicative host. Cannot give enough praise.
Top notch remodeled Brownstone in Bedford Stuy - near Fulton Street.
6 of us stayed in three bedrooms for a family wedding celebration. The house is beautifully redecorated and the kitchen very well equipped as we hosted both dinner and brunch and even baked there. Parked our SUV on the block for the weekend and used Uber and the subway lines. Ursula is right around the corner for breakfast burritos.
Each room is beautiful. We only used one bedroom and it was so lovely and cozy. It was a delight to cook in the well-appointed and gorgeous kitchen. It’s a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood. The sun is beautiful in the morning. I can’t wait to return.
The house was absolutely beautiful. High design throughout. High end appliances and finishes everywhere. I would say minimalism meets victorian meets Scandinavian meets African influences meets designer dream home. There are four beds, all comfortable. The ‘day bed’ is a day bed frame with an air mattress. The only negative was the lamps in the primary suite could not be plugged in due to outlet locations, a that also meant phones had to be plugged in and left on the floor instead of the nightstands. There are two and a half bathrooms. The bedrooms on each floor share a bathroom. The bathrooms are large, wet rooms which is wonderful high design. The living area has a TV, but it does not swivel well, so some folks couldn’t see… but we were watching KPop Demon Hunters on Netflix, so it was more of a singalong than anything. The kitchen was stunning. Legitimately stunning. We didn’t use anything except the fridge as it was a single night stay, but if you are staying for multiple days, this would be a chefs wonder kitchen to make a great family meal. The neighborhood was great. We found a great coffee shop and bodegas. The owner was also VERY accommodating for check in. We were uptown in manhattan sight seeing, and they were so gracious about our fluctuating arrival time. Super sweet owners, and really above and beyond gracious.
It just doesn’t get any better than this beautifully decorated, well appointed, sizable home, A nine minute walk to the subway. Our family of six, ranging in age from nine to 70 were all comfortable in our own spacious rooms, as well as togetherness in the kitchen or living area. The beds were comfy and well-appointed and the kitchen was well-stocked with all items required to prepare a complete, gourmet meal. The bathrooms were beyond what anyone would ever expect, with mid-room "rain-shower" showers and incredible soaking tubs. We are seasoned VRBO guests, as well as owners of a 5-star VRBO home, and all of us fully recommend this wonderful home as a vacation site for a family.
We had an excellent visit to this stylish spacious brownstone apartment in Brooklyn. 4 friends from UK to celebrate a birthday. A bedroom each, space to dine in if needed and in a perfect spot to explore Manhattan and Brooklyn, the metro worked well wherever we went, especially the A train! Our host was always helpful and we had a grand time.
We loved our stay here as a family during our NYC trip. Incredible home full of art, historic charm and design details. Tatiana was easy to communicate with and accommodating. Thank you!

Beautifully renovated home. So much space without any clutter.
My parents stayed two nights. Saturday and Sunday.
They felt right at home and didn’t want to leave!
We appreciated the attention to detail and overall gorgeous design aesthetic.
The only thing we could have wished for, would be some kitchen towels.
Tatiana was so kind and helpful and responsive.
Thank you so much! Will be recommending to friends in the future and hopefully will be back soon.

Filed false insurance claim
A disabled supported couple was assisted to this home to have a weekend getaway in NYC. They arrived to the home after 10pm due to having plans all day in the city. During that time we received repeated text from the owner asking when will we be checking in because the owner wanted to hand us the keys. The next day we got up and was again out all day and didn’t return back to the home until after midnight. In a period of 2 days we sat in the home for less the 24 hrs. They slept there and left out and now the property owner who is downstairs from where your staying is filing a false claim for a sofa we never sat on. I will never recommend this place or stay here again.

Great house, unwelcoming host
TLDR: the house is beautiful, but it's not a fully private space (the host lives in the basement with only thin plastic separating the floors), and the host is not considerate, and the amenities were not accurate.Pro: big bedrooms with comfortable beds and individual AC units per room, beautiful furnishings throughout, and a well-stocked kitchen.Con: We were traveling with our 3yo daughter and was interested in the house because it offered kids' items like a travel crib, toys, books, and cups, etc. Turns out the host was using all of these things at the time and so I had to buy a travel crib and other items. (The host ended up sharing some items toward the end of our 5-day visit). Con: The place was also listed on sale for a last-minute booking. However, after booking it, the host said she didn't approve VRBO to offer this discount and so asked me to pay it, which was shocking. Given that I had to buy baby items, I only agreed to pay half the fee.Con: The host asked us to not have our daughter run or make much noise because they can hear everything below (tough to do with a toddler!).Con: After 2 days, the host asked for a rental company to come through to see the place, which really should've waited until we departed. Already feeling like this woman would likely try to charge me more money, I relented, which required cleaning up.Overall, Tatiana was inhospitable throughout and unprofessional, which made us feel watched and uncomfortable in her place.
The Great: The house was incredible. The furnishings, the artwork, the beds & parachute linens, kitchen supplies, bathrooms, refurbished wood work, & overall energy of the house was all very impressive. The not so great: You do not have the house to yourself. This should be labeled as a shared space as the owners will be staying in the basement only separated by a thin frosted glass wall. They complained any time our toddler ran in the house and told us to make it stop. “The running is maddening ” This next thing didn’t bother us but they were blasting the TV all day into the night. I’m guessing to block out any noise from above but I could see this bothering people. Another thing, we came home one afternoon to a heavy smell of weed smoke. All for it, but we have an infant and a toddler, which exposure to second hand smoke is obviously detrimental to their health. Lastly, they also complained about us being too loud Friday night, but it was just 6 people laughing and catching up in the kitchen. We didn’t realize till afterwards that they can hear everything downstairs so I wouldn’t recommend renting this place if you have small kids or if you’re trying to have any kind of a grand time within the house, which is a total shame because it’s perfectly setup for that. Overall all though, we would consider renting again if there was a mutual understanding of us being able to occupy the space with said above tolerated. That’s it, thanks for renting your place to us!
