I will begin by saying I am easy to please and therefore typically give good ratings. However, My experience with the front desk staff was not the best upon check in. I arrived an hour early and was told there were no rooms available then told if I paid $50 I could check in early. Although the sign says newly renovated, They must have either skipped the room I was in or did a poor job. It was quite noisy outside my 4th floor window which I do not faut the hotel with (it was due to construction plates that were placed in the road making it quite noisy each time a car passed over them) and the bus stop directly across the street didn't help. I stayed a couple of days and there was no room service. I did see the housekeeper but he was the only one I saw for the entire building. There was a large neon sign outside that advertised free breakfast. When I aksed about it the front desk person said they haven't started that yet.
As for the room, it is an efficiency room. It wasn't dirty but it did not exactly look clean. there was a burn mark on the blanket that was easy to spot.
I didn't spend a lot of time in the room so was able to overlook some but the price was right for the location.
