The House on Crawford is a unique property on North Beach Side. This apartment is above the garage.
This rooming house was built in 1923, and is today recognized as an Historic Building. It is a legal short term rental that offers 3 different and private apartments all situated on the second floor.

Quaint and clean space with amazing balcony to simply relax on. Surprisingly large bathroom, ample kitchen space - it really is the perfect cottage. The staircase up to the cottage is a little narrow which made me nervous about banging our luggage on the walls going up.

We love New Symrna Beach, this location is safe, clean and all you need. Very short walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood and love hearing the ocean from the deck! Awesome place!

Cute property within walking distance to Flagler Avenue and perfect spot to hop over to the beach. Getting into the property was a struggle but after that it was nice. Would suggest coffee and sugar being provided.

Loved the location. Great rooftop patio.Comfortable bed and space. Well laid out. A lot of living in a relatively small space . Every thing was there to meet our needs for a great stay.

Great stay

Came in for the race. First time in NSB and definitely not our last! Cottage had great parking and was located a short walk to the beach and Flagler Ave for shopping and dining. Not too far from the speedway in Daytona and we were able to avoid a lot of race traffic. Neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. Very clean. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great weekend!

Perfect getaway cottage

Very short walk to the beach. Clean. Cozy. Comfy. We were able to walk to Flagler Ave. Have dinner shop and walk on the beach back to the cottage. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was exactly as described on the VRBO listing. While close to everything, it was a quiet location. I would definitely book the rental again if visiting New Smyrna Beach.

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful visit to New Smyrna. It was our first time there but it won’t be our last! The Cottage was perfect for the two of us. Short walk to the beach and only several blocks to Flagler with great shops and restaurants. Enjoyed having our coffee on the porch.

NSB Getaway!

My wife and I loved this place. It was our first visit to NSB. It was a perfect location and size for us. The beach was close and Flagler st was only 4 blocks away. We walked everywhere during our visit. We would stay here again!

Perfect beach cottage

The cottage was perfect. It was a short walk to the beach. We got up each morning and headed to the beach for the sunrise. The balcony was perfect to sit and watch the lightning storm. It was such a cute place. We will definitely stay there again if we get back to NSB.

Wonderful weekend

My husband and I were able to get away for the weekend, and even despite arriving the day after Hurricane Milton, the hosts were able to let us know the power had been turned back on and we were able to enjoy our trip. Very cute cottage and terrific location. We were able to walk to the Garlic restaurant for my birthday and even take a long walk over the drawbridge and all the way to Canal street and of course nice walks along the beach. Highly recommend!

Cottage stay on Crawford

This studio cottage is perfect for one or two people for a private getaway. A 3 minute walk to the beach where you can use the beach chairs provided. Only about a 10 minute walk to Flagler. Close enough for easy access, but the 6 block distance allows you to leave the busy pace and head back to quiet. We will definitely stay again.

Bestie Birthday Vacay

The Cottage was everything the site said it was and more! This tiny house had everything we needed and the best part was sitting on the deck and hearing the ocean. The beach is literally a 5 min walk away and strip was super close, too, with shops and restaurants. The owners were great to work with. I can’t wait to visit this spot again with my husband so he can see, too, how absolutely amazing and perfect the Cottage really is!

The BEST place for rest and relaxation!

What an incredible spot for a weekend of quiet, cleaniness, comfort, ease of stay! Short walk to the beach, or drive onto beach at 8:00am. Deck with chairs and table for breezy afternoon. Super comfortable bed, shower! Kitchen well-equipped. Nothing more to be said, except... stay here! You will love it! The hosts are very communicative and exceptionally kind. I'll be back!

What we loved: Cute and convenient to NSB beach and restaurants along Flagler Avenue. The deck is lovely in the morning and afternoon. The small space is artfully and comfortably arranged. What we would have liked: Adequate towels - only one wash cloth for two people and one bath towel each. Zero beach towels provided - at least we found none in the unit.

Holiday Stay

I was there between December 22 and December 24, 2024. Unfortunately, the drive to New Smyrna took longer that I had anticipated and I arrived at night. I had to call for help finding the door and using the lock box and I was helped over the phone by Corrine and in person by Ian. They have an "awesome" housekeeper as well. The place has a perfect location in a charming neighborhood close to the beach. The beach was a great place to take walks. There are no long boardwalks or stairs on the beach and the sand was firming packed down making walking along the shore a true pleasure. There are cars on the beach, but the road is well controlled and maximum speed is 10 mph. Drivers were friendly and waved as they drove by. There was also a life guard one day. The place is comfy for one person and well equipped. It is a historic building that is very well kept. Almost everything in the living area is painted. There's a small kitchen area with counters and a sink well stocked for one or two people in a hotel-like stay. Bathroom has been remodeled for modern day users with a small shower, etc. I would recommend the stay for short stays and solo travelers. There's a nice garden area for outdoor access and a deck with chairs.

Quaint and charming for sure!

I just adored this property! I love old homes and charm and this had all of that! Small staircase leads you to the cottage above the garage parking stalls (so you have no downstairs neighbors or adjoining walls to neighbors) for you complete separate cottage all to yourself! You have your own complete balcony to enjoy the fresh Atlantic air rolling in... you cannot see Ocean that is two blocks away but you can certainly feel it.. I walked about 4 blocks down to amazing restaurants and shopping on Flagler every day and sipped coffee and enjoyed ocean breeze morning and sat out in the night breeze too! Only thing I can say is if you are extremely tall maybe this is not for you.. I am 5-8 and felt I had plenty of room and would think It would easily fit most people unless you have constrained feelings in lower ceilings.. I do not and actually felt the space was very well done and perfect! Thank you again Ladies!
