Disliked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
My wife and I have stayed at numerous VRBO's. This one, by far was the worst ever. The check in instructions were confusing and incorrect. We contacted the management company and got attitude because we were not in the mood, after long travel, to NOT be able to get into the building. I complained, they shot back attitude. Turns out the entry fob was, against Condo rules mind you, in a lock box by the outer perimeter fence. The texted instructions to us were not clear.Now for the unit.By far, the poorest stocked rental we ever had. I mean horrible. Kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc all looked like they were 20 years old. Some of the pans actually were rusted.Here is a list of everything that was wrong:No ocean view as claimed in the listing.No hair dryer per listingNo dish soapNo hand soap in the bathroomNo garbage bagsNo iron board per listing.No beach umbrella per listingCouches were worn and dirtyNo information book to tell us what was expected during our stay and how to leave the unit when we left.On top of all of that, the building had work crews on scaffolds over the pool area. The were power washing and painting the outside of the building so you couldn't sit at the pool unless you wanted to get sprayed and have 6 workers staring at you. This made my wife quite uncomfortable. No mention of this in the listing either as we would have chosen another place.Stay Away from this unit and host. Horrible stay. Beware.
