Pros: Charming, clean, and well-kept property in a great location. Cons: Privacy is an issue. The downstairs room is directly connected to the caretaker’s room, and the wall/door is so thin it feels like they’re in the room with you — you can hear every word, cough, and movement.

Excellent stay, would 100% recommend!

Excellent, exactly what you need for a long weekend stay. Location was great, less than a 10 minute walk for buses and the St. Charles street car.

My time at the WG Guesthouse was great! The staff doesn’t bother you and the ease of check-in and out was explained clearly. The only hiccup I had was around 2:30 am whe the guest from upstairs knocked on my door because they thought they locked themselves out of their room. It was an unexpected annoyance. Other than that incident the time spent was great!

Close to everything but a little of the beaten path. A nice place to stay and convenient to get to almost anywhere in the New Orleans area. Not much of a walking area but you can grab a scooter and get to anywhere quickly. Great place to sit and relax in the main open area and the ability to use the kitchen if need be. Also has a great little restaurant at the corner of the street that is a must try.

Great home from home in New Orleans

The home is a New Orleans delight. Lovely rooms , very clean, very comfortable bed, well appointed. Housekeeper Melissa is a dream host. Free parking on the street, and about 4 minute walk to the streetcar that takes you direct to the French quarter.

Room was in excellent condition. Clean and cool (even during 95*F+ weather). Walking distance to street car stop. Food options are available close by but used a delivery service because I was by myself with no car and surrounding area after night did not seem to be the best place to be.

Excellent facility! Staff were amazing! Very very beautifully decorated and maintained. Quiet and comfy. Street parking in front, never had a problem. Excellent experience, will return for sure!

LOVE the property. It felt like my home in New Orleans. It was filled with warmth, exceptionally clean and was in a convenient location. Also, Miss Melissa (the property manager/host) was lovely. I enjoyed talking with her immensely and consider her a friend! Can't wait to come back for Jazzfest in 2026. My NOLA home away from home :)

Quiet, clean, central location with lots of historic charm and the sweetest housekeeper you’ll ever meet. We parked easily on the street right in front and walked to the French Quarter, CBD and Garden District. Would totally return!
